FYI for those discussing the manifesto.

Here is the Webster's definition

Definition of MANIFESTO

: a written statement declaring publicly the intentions, motives, or views of its issuer

Yes, it has been turned into something we translate to murder confession...so does that mean that her manifesto is in fact her confession?

Will it be introduced because it's now being brought up? What are your opinions about if it can be admitted or not???

Dear Jodi,
I got up a little late this morning. Slept in. Cause I could.
I'm on my second cup of fresh brewed coffee, sitting in my cozy flannel sleepy pants. Cause I can.
My kitty is sitting here next to me and I love the way her fur feels against my hand when I pet her, which I do, whenever I get the urge, and it's often. Cause I can.
I'm soon gonna take my dear little Puggles for walk in the morning sun. Cause I can.
Not sure what I want to make for lunch or dinner, because the choices are so varied and I never know what I'm going to really feel like eating. I eat lots of different foods. Cause I can.
I will hug and squeeze those whom I love today. Cause I can.
I will sleep well tonight, knowing that I am loved. Cause I can.
Sincerely. And I mean that.
Me

How about this one?

Dear Jodi,
I'm going to have sex with my boyfriend tonight,
Best,
Schuby

LOL!! Great minds and all that?? I posted this same thing at the exact same time. It was my added commentary that prevented it from being posted at literally the same time.

Unfortunately, the closer we get to the rebuttal stage, more motions for mistrial will be made. The DF team is nervous as to what JM will present during this stage. I am sure there are a few wowzers. Wilmont makes it clear with her facial expressions, her objections throwing all reasons in them... time, relevance, hearsay, speculation, foundation. She just wants one to fit... JA, Nurmi and MS staring into the jurors box. The delays are ridiculous but they just don't want to go there. Just my observations and JMO.

BBM - Maybe it would save time if she just started saying, "Objection. All of the above," or "Objection. Judge's choice."

BURN!

Somehow I think with all the shenanigans known to occur in jails, Jodi will find some guard(s) and get it on.

Indeed Bundy is said to have sired a child shortly before DP imposed--even though that jail's rules forbade it.

Jodi will know what to do if she wants some...

fair amount of bear activity on the back 40 (okay...I only have 5 acres but ...) but nothing as up close and personal as the other night...

To be honest...its the crazy wild turkeys that are freaking me out right now. Its like 'Night of the Living Poultry'....all Toms ...they are driving me and the 'guard dog' flocking nuts.....

Sorry for OT....

There's kind of a plague of turkeys nearby here. Folks started farming them years ago, some got loose, now they are happily enjoying life in Oregon. I imagine the bears and cougars are happy about that, though.

Glad to hear Mr. G. is letting you sleep. :)

If you think about it, the only "sexual history" we know about is the one's she has told us about.

moo

I seem to remember a sex tape where Travis was strolling down sexual history memory lane with the defendant. And sent her "scandalous" texts and pics.
It's what she used. She wanted him to be afraid he'd never find a "nice Morman girl" to be as kinky as she was for him. She ultimately snapped when she thought he'd found "the one" in Mimi. Wonder what she felt when both Mimi and the Bishop told her it was just a friendship? Travis was bluffing...

Morning All :seeya:

Todays' rant: There are waaaay too many proceedings going on in chambers:furious:

It's ridiculous that every objection has to be heard at
the sidebar and THEN SEALED! :furious:

The amount of time spent in chambers and sidebars
is at least twice the amount that's been spent in the
courtroom.:banghead::banghead::banghead:

Thank You for your time and patience and hope everyone has a great day.:fence:

Lol, when she turns up pregnant on death row it will be immaculate conception.

I've searched high and low here and cannot find the link to where Wilmutt is supposedly giving cues to LV by sticking her arm out them running it through her hair. (I don't think she is giving cues, but I would like to show someone who asked.)

Any help on page numbers or a link to YouTube would be greatly appreciated!! I've also Googled and Yahoo'ed all to no avail. Thanks!!

It may have already been posted but just in case others are looking it's here:

For what it's worth, I don't think Wilmott is 'signalling'.

Look how her suit sleeve is tight with her blouse sleeve bunched up underneath it. I think her quick arm streching movement was done because she realised her suit jacket was so tight she wasn't going to be able to get her hand to the top of her fluffy little head without loosening it, hence the rapid 'shake out' of her sleeve.

(Sorry if this has been pointed out in the 20 pages intervening between your and mine!)

Speaking of the hearing last night after court.

We have seen others, discussion, etc. on camera.

Why wasn't this one?

Has the court decided to take care of business outside of actual court time? If so, great.

Except shouldn't we be able to see these hearings? If we see some, why not all?

i get that not everything is done in open court but this judge does practically NOTHING in open court. i think the media has been frustrated by that. trials are supposed to be public. so i don't get how or why she's doing what she's doing.
they're obviously dealing with these matters during court time because yesterday we were very late and i expect that will continue every day, as long as the DT can come up with stupid things to file motions over.

Lol, when she turns up pregnant on death row it will be immaculate conception.

The question is, will she then get a stay?

Well that's a thought.
She'd get pregnant just to get the extra 9 months.

Agree! Most trials I've watched these things are done without keeping the jury waiting if at all possible. They break for lunch but the lawyers stay and have a quick hearing then go eat. Or stay after court and sort things out.

But yesterday the jury, the expert, the family all sat around for two hours while the judge heard Nurmi whine about Martinez throwing a pen and signing a cane. :banghead:

I was just watching a bit of yesterday's trial testimony -- I did not know there was trial yesterday, and it wouldnt have mattered even if I did know cuz I had to spend the day in mediation (booooorrrring).

So, I think it's safe to say that Alyce's whole tria presentation has completely unraveled. It's unsettling to watch some of it.

Both Alyce and Juan seem tired, and bored and distracted. In fact, even the judge and Wilmott seem disengaged

BBM

Really? I saw a Wilmott who was extremely agitated and nervous every time ALv went "off the reservation" with her free flowing testimony. Nothing good can come of that and she knows it. Juan did seem to take a bit longer to figure out how to approach ALv today. He mixed it up, going from mild and measured to more aggressive as the day wore on. moo

I think Mein Kampf could be considered a manifesto as well.
It is, so is Plato's Republic though.
My our little HS dropout sure has delusions of grandeur. I bet she thinks she'll be eating steak and be provided with art supplies in her private cell like Hannibal Lector was and then her infantile bug eyed coloured pencil portraits will hang next to the Van Gogh's at the Tate Gallery.
