Everybody tells me that. But I just cannot make it work in my brain. My tastebuds can't even imagine fish...tacos...yuck!

I second that. It just doesn't sound right. Gross!

I had the same 'good feeling' about that, or that TA had a friend bantering with him to see if JA was spying on him.

I continue to be struck by the #2 in this case.

2 ink pens in the cell
2 different approaches by others at restaurants to tell her about different boyfriends
2 weapons
2 gas cans (well, maybe 3)
2 copies of manifesto signature page, signature line on page 2
2 rental cars
2 guns
2 DT attorneys & 2 'expert' witnesses
2 different boyfriends choking her unconscious
2 passwords for online accounts exchanged
2 Neutrogena products at Walmart
2 other identical products at Walmart
2 months stayed in Big Sur before moving to Mesa
2 men going on post murder camping trip

more?

only 1 manifesto

Oh, I so hope this won't be like that Florida mess. I've been taking to worrying lately about something going wrong. I loved Jeff Ashton and thought he did a great job- same as Juan, but I think Juan is much better. Do you think this jury will be smarter?:please:

Your anxiety is completely understandable. What happened in the FCA case still costs the nation an agony of emotion. That makes sense. Try to relax and keep in mind how much more JM has to work with than Ashton did.

DNA, cause of death, confession, cover up, repeated lying to thwart the investigation.

When you feel twisted, remember the tone of the questions from the jury. Remember that our KCL says the jury NEVER looks at her. Don't fall for her smoke and mirrors nonsense that she does- it doesn't imply success. She is a deluded psychopath, performing her own circus for self.

She is not going to be acquitted. She is not going to be convicted of manslaughter. This jury is going to convict her of MURDER ONE.

Don't worry.

You know, as nice as it will be when this trial is over and I can return to my normal life... whatever will I do with myself??

My husband has been picking up a lot of the slack, cooking every night, etc. My kids have taken on more chores because I'm stuck in front of the TV and ipad all night. I don't know if I want it to return to normal.

Relax. Unfortunately, there will be another sensational trial down the line. I said after THAT OTHER CASE IN FLORIDA "never again". Here I am.

Yup, I said the same thing. I guess we are craving justice after that one.

That actually was filed on Sunday afternoon I believe.

OK thanks! So JM is getting under their skin on the weekend from afar?? Maybe after the DT cruised the net and spent Saturday reading here?? LOL!! Even better. If they had prepared their case the way JM did his, they wouldn't feel so foolish.

It's probably explained in her manifesto, along with a new and improved theory of relativity and errors she discovered in the big bang theory.

The die-hard WSers will always find another case to obsess over. It's what we do. I bet most of the folks saying they will never watch another trial will be right here with us next time. :)

The question is, will she then get a stay?

No female on death row in AZ has been dispatched in over 80 yrs. With the recent overturning of the sentence of one of the three there now, there's no realistic chance any of their sentences or Jodi's will be carried out imo. I bet many of the jurors know that too, and will view death row as a holding pen where she can safely be housed and denied the opportunity to harm others.

Impossible! JM has tons of evidence, the DT has....well none. :great:

Yes but I have already said here a few days ago that it is superseded by
Juantum Physics.

Unfortunately, the closer we get to the rebuttal stage, more motions for mistrial will be made. The DF team is nervous as to what JM will present during this stage. I am sure there are a few wowzers. Wilmont makes it clear with her facial expressions, her objections throwing all reasons in them... time, relevance, hearsay, speculation, foundation. She just wants one to fit... JA, Nurmi and MS staring into the jurors box. The delays are ridiculous but they just don't want to go there. Just my observations and JMO.

No doubt there will be many more motions for a mistrial. The DT knows they are sinking on their boat and are trying to stay afloat. But, no matter how many motions they try........I'm a firm believer the motions will be denied.
I have no doubt Juan will get the verdict he seeks. :rocker:

Sorta OT but it makes me laugh so I thought I'd share.

My son told me the other night that when I was obsessed with the Scott Peterson trial, they had a musician come to their school to guest-teach by the name of Randy Peterson. My son heard "Peterson" and got scared, telling all of the kids in his class that the guy had killed his wife and how did he get out of prison???

Sadly, my murder obsessions are negatively affecting my children.

Hard to say. The one was recently overturned for good reason. The other two are very recent and will likely never be overturned....its hard to say what could happen in the next 20 years or so.

So will this manifesto be allowed in? The DT seemed shocked and totally unprepared when JM brought it up yesterday. This could be a HUGE blow to their case.
