Hmmmm. You have given me an idea. What if Jodi was faking each of these ladies' ID and chatting to Travis.......AND what if Juanyummy has proof that it was actually Jodi? Like maybe her ip address. I noticed how he was specific about stating the whole name of each lady. Thoughts?

Perhaps this is what the forensic computer guy is going to testify about in rebuttal.

I still enjoyed JW expression when JM was asking ALV about Jodi's Manifesto. She was not happy. To me, it still goes back to being prepared and doing their job. They (DT) was shocked when JM showed JA the receipts from her filling up the gas cans in Utah. I am hopeful, that as the trial winds down sometime before Christmas, that we have many more "shocked" faces from the DT.

In case this is a burning question for anyone:

A keynote in literature, music, or public speaking is a talk that establishes the main underlying theme. In corporate or commercial settings, greater importance is attached to the delivery of a keynote speech or keynote address. The keynote lays the framework for the following programme of events or convention agenda; frequently the role of keynote speaker will include the role of convention moderator. It will also flag up a larger idea — a literary story, an individual musical piece or event.

IMO, I've been to many conferences, so in my non-expert opinion, you have 1 keynote speaker on the front end to set the tone for the conf. Breakout sessions are conducted by other 'facilitators' or speakers, but they are not considered the 'keynote speaker'

Yes, I'm first, full of vinegar and annoyed about the latest motion, and having to wait to hear all about the Manifesto, which will certainly be the literary highlight of my admittedly stupid life, having such a low IQ and all. In fact, I will probably be unable to comprehend it anyway. Maybe someone will be able to do a Manifesto for Dummies for those of us ungifted folk.

I am quite certain it is a demand for human rights for prisoners. You know, access to hair bleach, depilatories, make-up, massages and waxes.

Ease yourself by reading her latest motion for mistrial and its glaring misuse of words. Infested instead of infiltrated, "so called fans" (without the hyphen) and obvious hyperbolic statements which are not normally part of the legal process. The defendant can write legal pleadings better than her attorney even though got her GED in jail. Law school? Only for dummies.

This is how you can tell that the DT knows it is on a sinking ship, bailing water with a sieve:

Whenever the DT is questioning a witness, JM sits at the table, barely moving, and when he objects it's not anything hysterical, jumping up theatrics.....he objects, states the issue and then they move on; when JM is on cross, the DT will JUMP up, practically crying (Wilma), acting all OFFENDED, or else objecting just to object (and then practically having no ACTUAL objection!). Their desperation must stink up the courtroom.

Just watch the demeanors of both teams. It's very telling.

I am SO SICK of people ragging on Juan. It's obvious he is dealing with someone who is purposely being difficult. That just makes his job harder. She's doing whatever she can to rile him up and upset him. That's the DT plan, get JM worked up so he looks like an arse so the jury feels bad or it causes a mistrial.

Also, I wish people would stop saying JM needs to stop harping on the *little* stuff and move on to the meat. What people don't realize is that this little stuff is going to all tie into the big stuff. He mentions her notes several times yesterday and keeps asking her if what she wrote in her notes is TRUE. (example, had a good feeling, jodi corrects peoples grammar, she had normal self esteem levels, manifesto) so he is getting ALV to admit that YES, that stuff is all true because it is written in her notes. Then Juan is going to bring up the pedophile stuff where on direct ALV said on direct *I made a mistake in my notes* Then Juan is going to say *so, all the other stuff you wrote in your notes is true, except for the porn on the computer stuff*

Please be patient people. He's fighting for Travis, he has to prove that Jodi isn't as innocent in this as she claims she is. And in order for him to do that he HAS TO pull out all of this BS that she has her so called experts testifying too.

""""""""Wilmott may get out of this fairly unscathed but Nurmi, Samuels and LaViolette have SERIOUSLY damaged their careers with this case and have only themselves to blame."""""""

I think Nurmi, Samuels and ALV have calculated that there would be more $$$Gain for them via books and/or interviews than what there low-qualified careers would offer, Wilmott would be lucky to get a legal-aid job, but she too will look to cash-in---i'm sure they either have or will have wannabe agents begging to represent them

How is it that there was so much computer evidence in the KC trial and there isn't in this one? JA's computer might have murder searches and that sort of thing. KC had a lot of fishy searches!

Of course, JA is sneakier so she may avoided conducting any murder searches on her computer. Not much to research anyway. Her plan was 'torture Travis and then stab him to death.'

:floorlaugh: Too true. The evidence does seem to argue for Einstein's hand in the creation of that epic statement of injustice. Salem Witch trials, I say! The only thing missing is a powdered wig.

Sorta OT but it makes me laugh so I thought I'd share.

My son told me the other night that when I was obsessed with the Scott Peterson trial, they had a musician come to their school to guest-teach by the name of Randy Peterson. My son heard "Peterson" and got scared, telling all of the kids in his class that the guy had killed his wife and how did he get out of prison???

Sadly, my murder obsessions are negatively affecting my children.

Awwww that's cute!! You may find it turns your sons into champions of the public good over the long run though. My court obsessions resulted in an urban planner and a criminologist. Maybe you have a lawyer, ME or a victims advocate in the making?

They tried that when she was going to plea to 2nd degree and Juan told them 'see ya in court.' They would never accept a plea...........she has nothing to offer the state.

IMO

No prosecutor worth his or her salt would have accepted that. She took PICTURES of herself doing the murder, for goodness' sake! :furious:

I've noticed that too. It's glaringly obvious. I think the DT is soooo out-played by JM. They have no clue what they're doing.

Yeah that was real bad for ALV cred.

And if you listened carefully she hung herself worse as follows. At one point she was trying to act innocent, "I was a keynote breakout speaker..."

But she gave it away when she said at another conference she was THE keynote speaker--clearly proving she knew the difference. And when this was proven she said something like, "I don't lie, Mr. Martinez..."

Totally destroyed in many ways IMO, and we are not done yet.

Fun fact: IQ tests were developed after Albert Einstein's death, so his IQ is not known.

He recently said he wants to be a detective. Yessss!!!! I can live vicariously through him!! I knew I did something right in raising that boy. ;)

I agree with you Lulu...I also noticed Nurmi "lack" of posture when JW was questioning ALV on the stand. He was sitting there with his back towards JA. In effect, dismissing her to his presence. It was almost like he didn't want to have anything to do with her.

Interesting! I wonder if JA knows this, what with her Einstein-level IQ and all.

I have wondered about JA's computer also. The only drives testified to, were Travis' laptop and Jodi's broken drive. From the sound of expert testimony it appears this broken drive was an external one. Is this the case or am I mistaken? If it an external drive why was there no talk by experts regarding her laptop?

Will this trial EVER end??? I need to move on with my life!!! I need to learn to pull myself away from this trial. My house is a mess, and my children need me.:violin:

She is sooooo guilty and her smirking/eyeballing the jury is making me ill. :furious:

okay, I needed to get that out there.

I thought once I got a break from work I would be able to just sit and watch but no.. after leaving my 21 y/o son (whose idea of cleaning is apparently to run the vacuum and load the dishwasher) at my house for nearly 3 months umm I had to find a way to actually clean and watch/listen, so what I've done is just drag the laptop from room to room while cleaning baseboards and doors and such. The ones closest to the laptop are the cleanest.
