Does anybody else think Juan is slow boiling this witness on the stand?

1st day - he reminds her of her lowly education being represented as higher than it actually is. Bound to get her blood warming.
2nd day - he calls her a lie-ah-, sorry a lie detector.

I loved the second one as he chose his words and the way he said it very carefully. He was always going to compare her to a human lie detector, but using the word lie, then his ah, then the words lie detector.
Lie-ah!

Up to a simmer now, if she did indeed catch that the way I did.

She'll be at boiling point by the time Juan finishes with her. Hoping to see her lose her temper or start ranting at that point :please:

Well, according to ALV, if he brings her to a boil slowly, she won't even notice! :floorlaugh:

No Ma'M, you have it all wrong.

The wall abused her and attacked her. It was part of the Continuum amd there was a great power differential between the wall and her.

Jodi just defended herself when the wall attacked her. $300 please.

I do hope juror questions is next..

so everyone here?
If you were on the JURY for this trial?
What would you be asking this witness??

You have to sit thru redirect with Willmott before that happens

LOL!

I agree. I started a new job 3 weeks ago and before that...unemployed and able to get things done.

Now.....I get home from work and get right to the trial (AZ 3 hours behind NY). No kids, but dinner is turning into a nightmare. Yesterday I put leftover Enchiladas in the microwave for my husband. Put it in for 45 MINUTES instead of 45 seconds...came back to the computer, and after a little bit thought, gee, why is the microwave still going???

I fed it to him anyway!!:what:

Oh, I hear you. My response?

DURING HLN COMMERCIAL
Brown ground beef in frying pan, set aside
DURING SIDEBAR
Throw in one sorta chopped onion
WHILE WATCHING JUAN
Open cans and dump in bowl
1 - corn
1- black bean
1- red bean
Add bottle of salsa
WHILE WATCHING WITNESS
Shred cheese

PUT ALL TOGETHER IN FRIDGE except cheese

Tell family to help self, have cheese by microwave

RE #4 - I think she created a Youtube channel because she intended to post all the stuff she had on Travis, the recorded phone call, any video and photos she had of him, basically blackmail him.

That's a very interesting and plausable theory!

Or if it shows that TA was logging into FB from Yreka the same time he was sending PPL emails logged in from Mesa. It's going to be good whatever it is!!

Well there is a computer forensic specialist on the rebuttal list last I heard (last name Brown). I doubt he's just going to testify about "pedophilia" or 🤬🤬🤬🤬 in general on Travis's laptop.

Any guesstimates how long this motion for mistrial will be?

Is it televised? I got to work day shifts today, but I will have my earbuds on streaming on the iPhone. :rocker:

Morning! What time does trial start today? Given that there was a motion for mistrial (again) I am guessing that will take up some time this morn. Will they do it on camera or off?

? Einstein died in 1955, I believe IQ tests were developed before that?

Although Einstein never took an IQ test, so nobody knows what his IQ was anyway. (JA is the only person alive who apparently knows what his IQ was:floorlaugh:).

Here's a good rule of thumb:
People who mention having high intelligence quotients do so because it's not true.

Truth is not told. It's realized. So people who possess real intelligence or real true beauty never need to say a boosting word.

Jodi is NOT intelligent. Not at all. She's learned and book smart. She's very talented at regurgitating and reciting what she's learned from others opposed to learning on her own. She has zero wisdom and 100% plagiarism within her. Einstein didn't learn things by reading. He figured things out.
I guarantee.....Ms Arias couldn't find her way out of a paper bag without directions!! And like many others, Jodi was born an original but she will die nothing more than a copy!

Did anyone else notice yesterday when Nurmi was craning his neck toward the jury, then whispered to Wilmott who then craned her neck and then asked to approach? Then when they got to the stand, Nurmi had his neck in some weird contortion while talking to the judge like he didn't want the jury to see what he was saying and then the judge looked at the jury? Anyone??

I asked yesterday but never got a response. :blushing:

TigerBalm, I just noticed your new siggie GIF (the coffee must be kicking in). Even these old eyes can read what she's saying, loud and clear!!! And it looks like Wilmott's head whips around right after...

I was expecting another one this morning! They can't keep using the same reason for the motion can they? If a mistrial due to prosec. misconduct has been denied, can they use the same reason again and again?

This is so desperate and lame and obvious, they know she is guilty as sin and there is no way she's walking. A mistrial is their only hope.

fair amount of bear activity on the back 40 (okay...I only have 5 acres but ...) but nothing as up close and personal as the other night...

To be honest...its the crazy wild turkeys that are freaking me out right now. Its like 'Night of the Living Poultry'....all Toms ...they are driving me and the 'guard dog' flocking nuts.....

Sorry for OT....

This is one reason why I love this forum. It's pretty awesome for me to get a slice of life that isn't carpool, soccer and HOA citations!
