The judge needs to talk to this witness and straighten her out.

Here's the thing: Alyce LaViolette has clearly cast herself as an advocate for JA and has, as a consequence, lost any credibility she might have had as an independent evaluator providing any useful information whatsoever to the jury. Amirite?

Quick question...

First, Hi Mike!!

Second...can he hear the sidebars in order to transcribe?

  • #484
someone needs to make a .gif of alyce every time she does that thing with her hands making a sweeping motion to explain how she took 'ALLL the evidence' into consideration lol.

  • #485
When ever she wears her hair like that JM should have the "sexy time" pics up.

  • #486
Did not make a secondary gain assessment? On a confirmed serial liar? Wow.

Oh, she made an assessment alright. She is just afraid to admit what she found.

  • #487
Why is Alyce behaving like she doesn't understand the questions? So deceitful. And I cannot see how the jury would like or understand her.

  • #488
Secondary gain is a psychological term that means that a person has a hidden reason for holding on to an undesirable condition or behavior. More often than not this issue is unconscious and is most often uncovered during therapy or can surface during certain awareness exercises. With Secondary Gain, people are motivated to continue with their negative behavior because there is some kind of secondary payoff or benefit generated from that behavior.

LOL, JW just OBJECTING to everything, not even knowing what she is objecting to! Did you just hear her?

"OBJECTION, oh wait, I'm sorry."

I so LOL'd at that.

Juan is BRILLANT, secondary gain is the meaning of Malingering (DSM Diagnosis). There are mountains of proof that JA claimed abuse, etc.. in terms of Malingering. :great::great::great:

  • #492
How many times does JM have to request this Judge to address ALV before other remedies can be used?

Can an expert witness be held in contempt?

  • #493
Alyce looks pugnacious today.

  • #494
No need to approach and certainly not this long....here's a hint:

Judge: Answer the questions with a yes or no answer first, and then you may explain. Ms. Wilmott, you would do well to control your witness.

  • #495
Why is this woman (alyce) allowed to continue with these word games? This is soo :banghead:IMO.

She is basically choosing not to answer questions that compromise her opinion of domestic violence. It's ridiculous.

  • #496
Sherry!
Judge-Up!

Alyce tries way too hard to not anwer questions. She won't say blue unless she can say sky blue. She is being argumentative over the simplest questions. Does she really think this helps Jodi? I think for her, this has become an Alyce vs Juan thing and she refuses to give him anything, even the truth because she HAS to win! She's full of herself.

  • #498
:banghead: She's not even answering when the judge tells her to answer!

  • #499
Alyce informs us she found Jodi to be credible and believable. Wow

So what does that say for the professional who states that about somebody who is an admitted liar?

  • #500
Alyce LaViolette IS NOT a compassionate person. That is my conclusion to her behavior on the stand.
