Quick question: was the jury present when they played the snippet of Dad's interview?

  • #902
Wilmott wants to see the entire interview? Hasn't she already seen it?

Apparently JW didn't think it was significant enough to give to ALV, who would have rationalized it away anyway, saying Bill Arias was a perp too.

So if we take our teenager to Alice - chances are if Alice likes them we are scr##ed and

paying her large fees - IF SHE LIKES THEM and not us the parent. Seems that is how this is shaking out.

Am I correct in assuming when new evidence is proffered it is usually outside of jury presence....then the judge rules if evidence will be allowed to be seen by jury? Isn't that standard law stuff....?

That would be YES

  • #905
This must be the screen play she is working on.

  • #906
Ever thought that martinez did this so the entire tape could be played?
I was thinking the same. show9sec. and the DT is saying they have to see all of it to see it in context.

  • #907
This time I want JW to get what she wants. Show the interview!

  • #908
i think he made a mistake by bringing in the tape of the father. it shows where she did call him that time that she caught travis kissing another girl. IMO

they were broken up FFS!!!:banghead:

This is great! Juan Martinez got out that this "expert" did not talk with Travis, nor did she talk or listen to the video of the killer's Dad. Juan Martinez has done his job with this witness.

It's shocking! She should not be counselling or advocating for anyone!

I've been trying to understand what ALV is getting out of this. Now it's clear that she just looks at ANY relationship and finds evidence of domestic violence (male on female).

So for example if she were to start asking any female questions about her relationship, she could probably ask things like "did he ever raise his voice at you", "did he ever disagree with you", "did you ever have to do household work while he wasn't doing any work". Conclusion: This is a domestic violence situation and CLEARLY whatever you say from this point forward, you're just minimizing the abuse.

I can imagine that someone easily impressionable can walk into her office thinking they have a great relationship and walk out thinking they've been terribly abused. And she DOES believe what she's saying.

such a freakin' psychopath.. good lord woman, blink - would you?

  • #912
Random question. Why does Flores sit in the trial? Is it normal for a detective to sit in a criminal trial?

  • #913
Come on... Martinez was done! He said he had nothing further!

I won't be watching Willmott re-question Alyce... move it along.

  • #914
So, she BELIEVES JA about JA's father's alleged abuse - so she can TOTALLY rule this out. That's the logic?

You got it! Incredible isn't it?

  • #915
Here we go again, she will take JA's word automatically and doubt the man before she would doubt JA.

well dad is male.....

  • #916
Why does Willmutt want her to see the whole tape? It gets much worse!

I know, right?!

Maybe Wilmott don't know what's own the entire tape...silly silly girl..

  • #917
when JM says he doesn't have anything else that means just in reference to this video right? please tell me he is not done done

No he just meant that he was done proffering new evidence. Now we will see if the jury will get to see it....

  • #918
What is the point of this if the jury can't see it?

it really has to do with ALV and her fantasy world that jodi is innocent and never lies. now that she knows that jodi's father has stated on the record jodi has lied since the age of 14 she will have to continue her testimony (with the jury back) as either 'yes i still believed her 100%' or reconsider her assessment, which she won't because she's a paid shill.

  • #919
ALV lost ALL credibility by inferring her parents wouldn't be good gauges to ascertain whether or not Jodi had a lying problem! And if that weren't telling enough, the way she tried to wiggle out of her corner (where Juan rightly put her) when asked about Jodi's past and lying. She wiggled out by saying she was ONLY talking about and concerned about Jodi's past boyfriends. Not whether she lied about other things.

Wow. Just friggin WOW.

How the hell are people like ALV and Samuels even allowed into a court room???

Alyce had that deer in the headlights look when JM informed her about the interview with Jodi's dad. The DT screwed over thier own witness. Shocking-not.
