Jodi wasn't a victim of abuse in her childhood, as far as I've heard. Her parents had an awful time controlling her and their method of discipline was not truly abuse. Jodi was abusing her parents, IMO!

Her parents had to try to stop Jodi from doing illegal things or her parents could get in big trouble growing pot on their roof. Her parents had to protect themselves from Jodi, in all truthfulness.
