Well forget my nap. I tried. Too windy - I swear our house was built to see how long a house will stand in a wind tunnel.

HLN is reporting that Alyce is behind closed doors viewing JA's Dad police interview.

No wonder JA wanted to be there!

Officer King was great!
Now I really wanna do it to JA!!!

Nah, she'd get up and say "Wow! That was FANTASTIC. It was SOOOO debasing! Do it AGAIN!"

God forbid they have her do that WHILE she's eating her lunch so as to not WASTE TIME. Imagine that.

It was shocking to hear ALV say that she'd want to act normal after such an event (killing) or something like that.

Really? What a decent person would do after something like that is call 911!!!!!!1 CRY! Be terrified!

Why would anyone want to act normal after stabbing another 29 times including cutting throat from ear to ear plus a gun shot?

The same warped individuals that think Travis was the perpetrator?

WOOHOO! If that evidence is allowed in... I will actually get dressed... By dressed... I mean my dressy yoga pants and a tank top with a shelf bra. :great:

i suppose they could tell if it was an injury or just a natural thing she can do.
then they could also check if it was a fracture or a tendon injury (like from a knife while stabbing someone)

and yes, it doesn't show premeditation. i don't think they have to do any testing at this point it's pretty obvious she's lied about how she aquired it and i'm sure the jury knows.

i'd think now that 'cutting green apples' was added, the jury HAS to know! LOL.

typical JA. they weren't just 'apples.' they were GREEN apples.

probably bought them at the store......the one on the corner...well, across the street and on the corner....the northeast corner.....they were on sale......

And its another example Jodi wouldn't really 'get' unless she's been there too. Because what we really need, of course, is even more proof her claims of abuse are very likely self-serving lies. ;)
Yes! And sorry the credit for the answer half of that post didn't come with it. I thought I put it in there. :blushing:

{Rant filled with unthinkable horrors of sex abuse} snipped by me for the good of us all.

Bet the issue JW was going to do at 1:00 is being done in chambers. I really hope the media starts pushing for access.

meh, this tape is old news, we've already seen it :great:

what would that prove? nobody can prove with an xray or an MRI whether it happened in january or in june of 2008. she says january. but she also ADMITTED it was in june when she spoke to det. flores.

if there's a way to date an injury like that, i don't know about it. unless a fracture (and i don't even think it WAS fractured) is healing and showing varying stages of bone formation, i'm not sure you can say with accuracy when a fracture happened---and certainly not narrow it down to a 6 month window. this now happened 5 years ago.

besides being another of her lies, the issue of premeditated murder doesn't depend on that finger. JMO.

We have Jodi saying under oath that Travis broke her finger - a major point for domestic violence...on the other hand if it was a cut tendon (which she claimed with the stranger murder scene) then its proof that it was not done by Travis. If you lie under oath about one thing the jury can discount her entire testimony. By the looks of that finger it really does look like she cut her tendon - my husband cut is pinky on a faulty machine at work 30 years ago and to this day it looks just like Jodi's bent finger and he cannot straighten it all.

I'm not cooking tonight and I just cancelled my plans to go out for Happy Hour. Juan's cross is making me happy without the extra calories.

A few questions - and I'm probably wrong on all of them so bear with me please.

ALV and JW made a lot of references to the fact the episodes of 'abuse' were getting closer and closer which apparently gave JA more of a reason to fear for her life on June 4 as she was defending herself. If that was actually true and it was a 'normal' defense ie just a gun shot, would that be a reason for acquittal?

NB I said normal defense because I also wondered if self-defense can only be the same level of harm/force that JA was under.

And no one has yet to explain in a believable way why the abused person who had escaped her abuser, drove hundreds of miles to see him and have sex? This is a person who claimed that Travis scared her so bad that even when she was in Ca and he was in Az when he yelled at her on the phone she shook.
