I really wish Juan would make it clear that Jodi and Travis were not in a relationship from Summer of 2007 onward. She had no right to feel that Jodi had been betrayed or cheated on by Travis because he was not committed to her.


And the pedophilia. We'll see what happens!

She maintains they WERE in a relationship, whether they thought so or not.

ALV completely trashed Travis's character and outright stated she didn't see him as the victim. She deserves everything negative that comes her way. It doesn't matter that she was hired by the defense - you can be a witness for the defense and still maintain some semblance of a soul. She has gone above and beyond to stick to her lies to defend JA. The entire courthouse could collapse on her head and I wouldn't bat an eyelash.

Soooo, does anyone find it even a little ironic that Ms. LaViolette discussed at length how she teaches others to be effective witnesses for trial?! I remember her saying this the first day and I never forgot that because I noted that she seemed so proud of herself.

I gave her the benefit of the doubt but now it's just O-V-E-R. She is absolutely biased. And she is circling the drain, albeit painfully slowly; I just wish he'd "flush" her and take her out of her misery.

If she flips for Juan, she'll never get work as an expert witness again! Too high of a risk for either side - she won't flip for Juan but he'll get what he needs out of her I think. It's her future income at stake, she's fighting it all the way.

Personally I think she should know the difference between the IMs and the texts and if it wasn't clear she should have had it clarified.

Then it appears she jumped to a few false assumptions on what she was looking at in regards to the evidence.

She was one eyed, and doing her own investigation of the evidence wasn't a priority.

Thank you for mentioning this. I think that Ms. LaViolette isn't accustomed to asking anyone about anything. She makes assumptions, choices, decisions, etc. without seeking the advice or expertise of others. I've noticed how she continuously uses her hands to form a "box" as if to put all of her reasoning about Jodi into a neat little package - into context, as she says. The scope of her testimony is extremely biased and limited.
