What day did Daniel Freeman testify? Does anyone remember what he testified to

From what I recall...He went through JA's backpack and that started the fight.

She keeps saying she didn't use "that" for her evaluation. She's said it a hundred times. So what did she use then? Juan should list all the info she has denied using and ask her what the heck did she use to come to her conclusion then? She is maddening. :banghead:

@JustifyTravis @robynd323 @honeyrun They are paying attention still. Not much note taking that I can see though.

"It was just a journal entry". - ALV

BINGO!

LAV does not follow directions well. Maybe he should draw her a picture.

Expert witnesses for both sides are 99% of the time paid. They will not change their minds on cross unless absolutely forced into it, because they will get fewer clients if they are known as flippers.

I had ONE case in which my expert witness refused to accept any payment because he was so outraged by the behavior of the opposing party. It is very very very unusual to find an expert who is willing to testify for free.

Can I ask whether the opposing side was the defense or prosecution? ;)

Maybe I'm assuming, but I tend to believe that most (certainly not all) serious trials (i.e. murder) would not get to the level of jury trial w/out enough evidence pointing to guilt of defendant. So it seems much easier to be an 'expert witness' for the state vs the defense, no? (Assuming one's personal integrity).

For example; Dr. Horn's testimony with both JM & cross w/ JW - versus Samuels & LaViolette's testimony with JM & JW. It seems to me it comes down to integrity and the truth. He testified (expertly) as to his role, what he did, his findings; seemed at ease during cross by JW too. Actually his objectivity and expertise made her look foolish during some of her more outlandish questions, imo.

It seems we can assume that most expert defense witnesses aren't reliable in matters of actual truth seeking..and that's part of whats wrong with the justice system today, no? (Not meant to be offensive, and I apologize if it comes across that way, no at all my intention.)

This is unreal. She can't even do a hypothetical. Kind of pathetic that she doesn't even seem to realize what she is doing.

What did I miss juror no. 3??????

Someone lipread JA looking at the jury and saying "Juror #3" to Wilmott. Later the DT was called into chambers, so we're all on pins and needles wondering if they are going to make us all prophets by trying to get rid of yet another juror.

I agree with a previous poster........I actually believe that ALV is very medicated.

She seems slow and tired. Having to repeat all of Juan's questions, then totally evading the question, or going off course. She's not on point as a paid defense witness should be.

She can't even assume, and seems totally kerflunkled (taken from another case not so long ago).

MOO

First off, you can't call it airy-fairy when scientists have discovered that a particle's state of being and/or behavior is influenced by being looked at.

My understanding is that the Law of Attraction operates from the present to the future whereas Karma refers to the past operating on the present and the future.

Jodi is as much a believer in the Law of Attraction as she is the Law of Chastity. Let's just get that out there. She has the same regard for "The Secret" as she does the "Book of MOrmon," which is none except when she needs to claim to be spiritual or to sound "deep."

Anybody with the most rudimentary education in basic psychology would recognize that pretending something is wonderful in your journal will not make it wonderful. Pretending you have positive feelings instead of the hateful ones you really have will not work in any paradigm.

So, just as Mormons shouldn 't be trashed because of Jodi Arias being Mormon, let's not ridicule New Age because of her saying she believes in the Law of Attraction. There are sincere adherents of both belief systems and it works for them.

Jodi's own blog on BlogSpot.com stated that she gave up belief in the Law of Attraction six months prior to that very blog entry....Just adding that info.

Come on LaV...ASSUME ASSUME. Stop playing games. Is she NOT taking the glaring hint from Juan that that is what Freeman said????

I have worked in the court system for over 20 years and never heard an expert witness be so combative. EVER!!!
If hell freezes over and JA gets off,I hope Alv takes her home with HER to let her live with her. She really has faith in JA and deserves her.

I think smoke is in her eyes from her career burning.

this is a question that could have been answered in 1 minute or less and her belligerence is what's drawing it out

TXHoney, she is disgusting. O/T, where you from in TX? I grew up in Beamont and lived there fifty years. Daughter lives in Dallas and brothers in Austin and Houston. :)

I'm from a little town about 50 miles east of downtown Dallas, above Terrell.
