I missed Daniel Freeman on the stand.

Did he testify that Travis was happy Jodi was moving and did he testify that it was him who started the Lake Havasuko fight and not Travis.

TIA

Yes. He took stuff out of Jodi's backpack...it was too heavy. Jodi freaked out and pouted like a child

I wish I had his mind - he is sharp as a tack. Nothing phases the man!

:great:

I have a vision of him questioning witnesses in his sleep, assuming he ever sleeps. Super human, super Juan!

Ok. So how is someone else getting her drawings to sell them without her permission?

They aren't. Someone else is drawing them. It doesn't say she drew them. It says Jodi Arias Trial.

Nurmi is writing - I WANT TO BE JM....

I have to admit I've been called out here for not automatically empathizing with Jodi as a fellow 'victim' and disbelieving her claims.

I know what it's like to not be believed about abuse. I definitely know what it's like to not be able to 'prove' abuse. And, as a survivor, I would caution all other survivors and victims alike to trust their instincts. It's a very hard lesson learned...my instinct tells me she's lying. If I were to discount that, I'd be proving to myself I hadn't really learned a lot from my own experiences.

Logic alone though should dictate that if someone is making claims of abuse and could possibly benefit from such claims - whether it's an acquittal or custody - they need to be investigated much more thoroughly...because I swear even without a single shred of evidence to substantiate abuse, a very clear pattern will still emerge. Unless one chooses to remain willfully ignorant, of course. ;)

MOO

Without being so inconsiderate to oversimplify your well thought out and nicely expressed post, I would add, as a fellow survivor and advocate, one thought that came to mind. Just as one can in many cases appreciate beauty as it comes from within, as that lovely inner glow, that wonderful grace of heart.....similarly it is hard to determine abuse based only on verbal statements and physical manisfestations like "shaking" or crying, absent obvious injuries. But it is something an experienced victim's advocate or counselor can see from within, the light in the eyes that has gone out, the fear, the witholding, the distrust, as beauty shines from within, real abuse dims the light and life from the eyes in a certain way that cannot be faked easily, not with "stories" or "shaking".
