Dr. Drew talking about JA's manifesto and mentioned the Unabomber in the same sentence.

Just as some of us were thinking last night...

:D

Yes, I wonder if ALV has noticed JA's pattern of stalking the jury, and other behaviors of control exhibited in the court room?
Of course not silly!

Mark E has the same illness I did early in the trial. After I read a post by Mormon Attorney about Psychopaths and how one should work with them, AND after I realized I just needed to have faith in Juan, AND...I'm trying to think of some more to this run on sentence because when Juan told ALV to answer in ONE sentence, she kept adding on to that sentence, and it was almost as long as THIS run-on sentence. lol

Oh, my gosh! I forgot about that: "Describe what <blank> means to you in one sentence" thing she went on and on and ON about...

I'm trying to catch my hubby up on the day's testimony. There's too MUCH good JM stuff!!! :great:

I kinda feel sorry for Nurmi. He sure doesn't look like his heart is into this. He can barely motivate himself to pick up his pen and write anything, he is slumped in his chair with a look of utter disgust on his face (which I now don't think is directed at JM), he takes little catnaps, when he walks up to the judges bench with his head tucked and chin on his chest he looks like he is doing the walk of shame, and he has separated himself from Wilma and Einstein at the end of the table. He and Wilma barely chat it up in consult anymore. He clocks in, clocks out. Does his 8 and hits the gate. He looks like he is there against his will, hoping this hell will end soon and he still has enough remains of a reputation to scrape together.
Anyone else get this vibe?

I heard the judge saying she will hold court on Fridays.... from now until MAY? Just how long is this going to last :what:

My guess is that the trial will go into June.

I wonder why... complaints from the jury? or complaints from her boss?

ALV wants to cut the baby in half...she wants to say that she was ONLY hired to analyze DV, but then whenever she is given new information to include in analysis...she claims she would not change the diagnosis.

Also...just learned the police interviewed Bobby Juarez?? When, where...and were is he now?

This may be o/t but I thought Bobby's last name was Quatas or Wattas the way Juan and ALV have been pronouncing it. I had no idea it was Juarez! Or is it just me?

She implied it might end by early May...or not

At the end of trial today, JSS said "please stand for the Jury." JA and Willmott were giggling and whispering while the Jury filed out. Hell I think JW had her back turned to the Jury!

Do these two have no shame :furious:

They do this every time! It shows disrespect to the jurists... too bad they don't look over and see this behaviour.

Lip reading experts on Dr. Drew tomorrow, YAY!! I am pumped!

Don't get too excited, we don't know yet if DD will actually let them speak or just talk over them.

I agree, Also, speaks to JM point that rather than ALV 'believing JA is leaving out negative stuff b/c IT DIDN'T HAPPEN, and further questioning/pushing her on this; she chooses to believe JA when she says the reason of law of attraction and leaves it at that.
She never seems to push back against anything Jodi says to try and 'get at the truth', or even 'more details'.
The impression it gives me is her assessments is based on the assumption that 'everything JA says is true' and all contrary info should be discredited. Kind of hard to discredit information when you never speak to the actual sources involved...

Before deliberation, the jury is usually instructed that they if they don't believe a witness, they can discard all or part of that witness's testimony. If they decide to discard ALL of JA's testimony, it seems logical that they would also discard all or most of ALV's testimony since most of it is based almost entirely on what Jodi told her, and Jodi is not even remotely credible.

If I were one of those jurors, and noticed that, those two would get punished just for their total lack of respect for the position I hold. I am the one to decide that defendant's fate and they need my respect.

I hope, hope, hope that some of JW's peers reach out to her and counsel her that her usual style of questioning is not going to resurrect ALV. While I'm not sure there is anything she can do for damage control (from my biased point of view), the jury does not need to be tortured with a syllable by syllable rehash.

This trial may ruin Cinnebon and Starbucks for me, fine. But it WILL NOT ruin one of my favorite movies!
No, go and enjoy Starbucks and Cinnabon, knowing that Jodi will never have them ever again! Don't let her ruin them for you. I certainly haven't!!!

This has probably already been discussed, so apologize but I'm still catching up with testimony today, and watching DD. I can't believe JA was caught on camera cheekily "sustaining" one of the judge's objections. Her narcissism is starting to show more and more as this trial goes along. Does she not realize that the jury is probably watching her in court? She got quite the look from JW when she did that.

She is some piece of work.

She's falling apart at the seams and I'm LOVIN' EVERY MINUTE OF IT!

I missed it ,hope I can see it later.Saw everything up till then:(
I had to leave for work the second court ended ( was late leaving as I could not take my eyes off of what JM was doing) Sorry if this has already been said, but.......

JM was MAGNIFICINT at the end of his day. That stalker stuff right under terrorism on HER sheet was BRILLIANT! I literally did a jump and arm raise like the kind you do when your kid scores a soccer goal. I must say that is a moment I will always remember! :great:

Right now JM is impeaching ALV via Jodi's "incomplete" journal entries, i.e. "would it change your assessment if you knew ...." stuff. Do y'all think at some point Juan will claim/prove the journals ALV relied on are fake replicas JA produced in the 5-6 weeks before she was arrested? If so, would he do that during rebuttal?

A few observations:

Wilma and Einstein are definitely cueing and coaching ALV in her answers.

ALV's hatred of men is deepening by the hour.

I think the Nurmster has narcolepsy.
Wilmott looks totally po'ed--and now the judge is blowing off most of her objections I think her head might explode. I think she truly thought she was good enough to beat Juan. Probably a mistake.

Nurmi, despite his crazy motions, doesn't seem to be taking this so personally. Nurmi has always realized that the only point of this case is to try and keep JA alive. I don't think wilmott has realized this.

Sometimes when I see Nurmi watching Juan, he seems almost admiring of Juan's strategy--on a lawyer to lawyer level.

Spanish pronunciation...sometimes Juan rolls the "R's".
