Today might be my last day to watch all day for a while. My nephew is coming home tomorrow after being in the hospital for the last four months. BUT I'm going to try and get him interested so I can watch it with him.

UT Oh storms are starting up. Cold day in north Texas ,but it will be in the 80's by Sunday.

So glad he's coming home! That's WONDERFUL! :great: I hope you get to keep watching. I'm sure the rebuttal case will be easier to get him interested in than redirect of this witness!

No. My understanding is that they attempted to administer the test twice since her incarceration and that she obstructed the test results both times. My theory is that she does not want to find out that she is not really a genius. Not that the rest of us need any convincing, mind you.

Weird to think that ALV will earn what for many Americans is a year's salary JUST for the hours she spent preparing for this case and for testifying. How much would YOU charge to sit on a witness stand with millions of people watching you and knowingly lie on behalf of an admitted killer, stalker and liar? I don't for a moment believe ALV actually thinks TA abused JA in any way. She's a conscience-free hired gun, willing to sell what's left of her soul to help defend someone who admits brutally slaughtering another human being. I wonder if at any time during this she has asked herself if it's been worth it.

That would be an excellent point for Juan to bring up when he's done with her. One of his last questions: "Ma'am, do you realize you've made XAMOUNT of dollars advocating for the defendant in this case?...Was it worth it to you?"

I hope our power doesn't go out. It has gotten very dark with thunderstorms on tap this afternoon. I hope DH's laptop is fully-charged, just in case.
