I had to...HAD TO...go to the grocery store this morning. I was running late and knew by the time I got home, I would be late. I ran into a friend there who just wanted to chat and finally said, (literally) "I have to get going, Im watching the trial and it has started". She just looked at me weird and asked "what trial?" "the Jodi arias trial!!!!!!!!!" "who? what? huh?"....

yeah...nobody in my real life cares or even knows about any of it. lol

I dare not mention it myself for fear of scorn and ridicule from the members of the Academy.

The only one that comes to mind for me was his, "I BEG YOUR PARDON, SIR!" outburst.

I was thinking about those "zingers" last night, and the other one by ALV "are you angry with me?" and I think those were all planned ahead word for word. The phrases are all too convenient and "on point" for DV. Disgusting.

As another lawyer says here, fun legal fact. Hypotheticals are allowed and commonly used with expert witnesses. ALV should never have been qualified as an expert, IMHO.

Somebody on HLN said last night "she's a speaker, not an expert witness" which makes total sense to me.
