I just read that, omygosh, I don't know if I could stand in the same, small room with the person (I didn't know and had never met) that had killed my brother. That would be SO difficult.

I couldn't do it.

Since the jurors were going to be an hour later, why not have everyone else come into court at regular time so all of these "in chamber issues" can be resolved without wasting time?????

To those that criticize JM, I say this:

He gives a voice to those that no longer have one.
He gives a voice to those that remain who have endured pain, loss and suffering.

He may use any tone he chooses as it represents the outrage many survivors feel. I don't care if his critics like it or not.

His words empower those who feel they have none. His love of justice is palpable. He chooses to right the wrongs where possible, to the extent they can be. JMV

Yes. It's a damn hard job when dealing with the likes of the witnesses he's had to question.

Carry on Juan. Justice is near.

Good grief, I can't believe there are people out there harassing ALV. I think this woman is doing an awful job on the stand and she's extremely biased, but to try to ruin her professional and personal life? Some people need to get a life.

Ms. Davis was blonde in the '30s when she began her prolific film career, but her hair got darker in the '40s and beyond. I had never seen the "red sweater" photo previously but came across it while searching for a new avatar.

O/T All About Eve is my absolute, favorite movie :seeya:

That whole Jodi peeping thing .... Why didn't she knock on the door like a normal human being?

I just got to view this video.

I would love to know what IDIOT in ALV's life doesn't know she is in court?

and I would like to know how a so called expert witness in over 60 self professed cases manages to forget to turn her cell phone off WHILE SHE'S ON THE WITNESS STAND.

Interesting color choice - teal.
The color is tied to emotional healing, trustworthiness, and open communication.

Since a couselor is a witness:the witness has to divert any and all loud/ agressive person. As she sees it, she is being bullied as per loud/agressive wording and format.
So?
What say you all?

Could a jury member ask ALV 'Do you believe in the DP, yes or no?', would that get through?

  • #616
I haven't heard any estimates about how many there are yet, but I don't watch much of the talking head things, just Beth Karras. Only thing I have heard were they were begining to accumulate once JM spoke with Ms. ALV. Have you heard anything ?

Not really. I just know there are some.

Can we please, lady justice, get this show on the road on time for once?

While we're waiting I'll offer that I roast coffee.

Thank you to your husband for his service, and big hugs to you from this Navy mom. Deployments are so hard. My son is leaving for boot camp on the 23rd, and his twin brother deploys this summer. Hang in there!
