My take: Alyce is answering an ultimate issue in the case about self defense vs. premeditation, and that is not allowed.

IMO this question is a pro-defense. I am not nearly as sure about this jury being pro-prosecution after these first several questions as you all seem to be. I am actually very nervous now.... hope things get better.
