ROTFLMAO ... If we get a conviction I want to buy the jury a round or drinks for these great questions. I'd love to send them all on a 14 day cruise for having to dealing with this trial..but of course im not a millionarie

My advice to you is, better start savin' up because Jodi is going down!!

This really looks like Det Flores has JM's back and is trying to cover him....

apart from the fact he's blocking our view!

And the brown file that WAT says Juan carries.

ALV is so full of carp, my biggest physical abuser was my grandmother, I had every kind of abuse possible almost. I do not abuse , and never ever hurt my children or any one else.

OMG! There were only 18 cases - she would know immediately how many were men victims.

Stop the fakery.

you notice when she did answer it was man on man. :banghead:

Jodi MASSIVELY fidgeting.

  • #2,788
Is she eating things off the desk? She actually hates being stood over. I like it.

  • #2,789
ALV was obviously duped by the defendant, and the defense team did not provide her with everything that she needed to conduct a thorough analysis of her client. When ALV has finished testifying, do you think that she will look more deeply into the case to find the evidence that was not presented to her?

  • #2,790
In light of all the prior testimony the jury has heard, ALV's very selective lens makes her comments seem unreliable. I think her answers clearly help the prosecution. She does not get what the jury has already seen and witnessed from Jodi. In that sense, I hurt for her every time she talks. Every word points out that she is out of touch with what the jury has already discovered. It discounts her testimony incredibly.

best post of the day in my opinion^^!!

I actually feel bad for her as she has already testified that she was "restricted" with the information she had to work with. She doesn't know this case, doesn't know the people, and has gotten taken by a sociopath imhoo.:twocents::twocents:

WOW WOW WOW WOW!!!!!!!

I gotta say this may be the best day for the State's case yet! Makes me feel emotional for the Alexander family that all they are enduring will not be for naught!

It was AWESOME. I did not expect the questions to be so extremely pointed. They did everything short of just coming out and asking her, "Are you a moron?"

wow is she ever being watched carefully by the guard..feed still on CNN

ATTENTION ABUSE VICTIMS

Your abuse is rated on a scale of how bad your abuse was during childhood.

I wonder how this is scaled?

Wow. Just. Wow.
One of the biggest myths in intimate partner violence is that victims were abused as children at all (or have low self-esteem when they meet their abuser). It's a myth.

Alongside 100% of abusers having been abused as kids too.

They're going to be angling for a mistrial due to the juror question about interviews and statements by Travis's friends and family.

I guarantee they think jurors are watching the media coverage and Internet mentions.

Nurmi already stated to the Court that "...it's a fiction to believe otherwise."

I appreciate that the guard is finally supervising Jodi. About time!

See - she's saying she only reviewed what was provided to her.

Here's what I think happened: When ALV was approached by defense, she was first given very limited information, all of it showing Travis in a very bad light, and showing Jodi in a favorable light. They were priming the pump to bias ALV and get her to conclude Travis was abusive so that any further information she was provided would be tainted with her conclusion that Travis was an abuser.

If this was the case, then I think that she actually believes most of what she is saying and really does have a very distorted view of the whole deal. To this day, Alyce still only has very limited information, and she does not have a clue about all the psycho things Jodi has said and done.

All this time, I had assumed that Alyce had read ALL the journal entries ,ALL the text messages, ALL the emails, etc, but that's not the case. Alyce was not privy to all the testimony that came before her, so she came into her testimony without the benefit of a complete picture. It would explain why she says she hasn't seen anything showing that Jodi was jealous or anything to indicate Jodi was manipulative. She literally has not seen that information.

I tend to agree with you, especially considering we know how much trouble the Defense had even securing an DV expert.

Still....I don't feel bad for ALV. She may be longwinded but she is no dummy. Anyone could tell this murder was overkill and she is blatantly biased. Makes too many excuses for obvious behavior by JA that makes no common sense. She could've (and should have!) held JW's feet to the fire to fill her in on everything that could burn her so badly. This woman is no pushover. She strikes me as the type to have no issue demanding something like that.

She may be making $300 per hour but she is going to pay a much higher price than what this job was ever worth.

wow, this was one challenging day for members to refrain from shenanigans and for mods to be policing it.

Thanks for all the patience Mods!

JA doesn't like the bailiff standing so close to her AT ALL.

Wow, just wow!!! After that frenzy of questioning, it will take me hours to read all of this thread and I am sure that most posts deserve to be acknowledged.

I am so happy at the tone that the jury questions seem to have taken. My heart feels lighter in that I do believe there will be Justice for Travis.
