Question: How many text or email communications is there available from Travis Alexander, when he is clearly agitated/upset? I can recall about 3. The one where he calls her a sociopath, the one where he was pissed when she left something at his house, and... I think there is one more, but I can't remember it.

Anyway, I just ask because it seems like 3 incidents during a period of time where they knew each other for a year and half seems mild. ALV keeps acting like there is piles and piles of evidence that she can point to and call abuse. She also makes a huge leap in assuming that, because Travis went off on JA a couple of times, he must have also hit her. She has no evidence of that.

Another thing is I am tired of them saying that JA didn't write negative things in her journal out of one side of their mouth, while then pointing out the negative things she did write in her journal out of the other side of it. They can't have it both ways. You can't say she didn't write negative things in her journal, because of Laws of Attraction, and then turn around and point out all the negative things she did write. This defense is all kinds of bipolar.

This is a totally insignificant question, but do you think Willmott wears a wig? How in the world can someone have the exact same do, day after day. I can never. fix my hair the same way twice. How is it done?

Well since Lifetime is supposedly doing a movie...what actress gets the job of AVL..or maybe she can play herself.

K

I am thinking Cinton could do it.

If Jodi was sucking on Travis' ear at church events when they were first going out, a lot of people was forming opinions about what type of woman she was...probably expressing it to Travis in subtle ways.
.
That surfing trip, where Jodi is in the wet suit next to the blond guy picture. I read the 2 guys plus Travis even changed the location because Jodi invited herself along, but she wouldn't defer even then. When Travis went into the water, Jodi hung (literally) on the guys on the beach, trying to make it seem to Travis that they were hitting on her..trying to make him jealous. Perhaps that's why T said she acts like a ho.
None of them, including Travis, wanted her to go in the first place. She just invited herself along. Wonder how many times Jodi has invited herself along or showed up to say later; she was always welcome or someone said they begged her to come along. All lies.

Sounds like how she invited herself on the camping trip after the murder...the one she bought the gun for. I heard they also didn't want her to come and changed their plans so she couldn't.

people can most certainly complain if that is their opinion.

Maybe to better state my point: If you force the Defense to put on a case, and you know the case they will put on [which the Prosecution most certainly did], then there is really no complaint to be made--because the Defense hand has been forced.

she has not testified yet. perhaps we will hear from her in rebuttal?

Please! Have her testify in rebuttal! She has already went on record that Travis was not physically abusive with her. Juan has to counter this character assassination. All it takes is for one juror to believe Jodi's lies.

Good Day from Tennessee! It's a brisk morning compared to 80's Yesterday. I missed so much but did get caught up sorta with jury questions.
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.

Justice for Travis!!

At the risk of redundancy, I simply must repost this gem from Litigatrix this fine AM:

Truth is not found in dark spaces or back rooms...sunshine is always the best disinfectant.

Truer words were never spoken, say I. Man the cannons! We sail for justice!

"Wooden spoon"?

Jodi Arias physically abused (beat and kicked) her own mother: http://youtu.be/XO4f9omfhik?t=47m44s

This is where she got the idea to fabricate the absurd notion that Travis kicked her.

It's called "projection".

This is not the first abused woman's defense case you've seen, is it?

She said on the stand yesterday, in answer to a Jury question, that she has seen abused women kill their abusers, but only in self defense.

IMO

I heard that -- she was trying to make the claim that when a woman "snaps" it's always self defense. Judge struck the comment from the record.

But what do Travis' alleged secrets have to do with Jodi's self defense? Unless the "double life" is referring to him being a closet abuser, but I don't think that is what Alyce was referring to.

I'll raise you a crumpet. JW's response to the jury questioning will be an exercise in unanesthetized dentistry.

IMO this is the one drawback to having juror questions. JW writes down every question, probably doesn't have time to listen to the answer, and then asks all the questions all over again in attempt to elicit a better and more complete answer. Only, mostly of the time she doesn't get one. She doesn't realize it because she's too busy focused on the questions rather than the answer.

I felt like emailing or texting her yesterday and telling her not to bother with the questions -- they would all be available here on Websleuths (thanks Schuby and Wenwe4).

What in the live-long day would Ms. Arias know about a syllabus of any kind? Why in the world is she bringing it up?

:floorlaugh: I spit a little coffee out of my mouth.

Don't forget the abusive text where Travis forgot to say "please" empty your mailbox.

Hmmm...that's assuming there's a complaint? Not sure what that is/means? Do you think JM is fearful of losing?

if ever there were someone taken in by a she-devil, it was Travis...and ALV.

Jodi's second degree plea also came with an added requirement -- a light sentence recommendation. Of course Juan objected.

One of the juror questions to AVL was "Do you feel that being unable to interview Travis gives JA an unfair advantage in telling their shared story of abuse?"

AVL answered she got most of her information regarding Travis from his close friends. I am assuming she is talking about the Hughes.

Am I missing something? All of Travis's friends thought Jodi killed Travis so why 'were they not interviewed? She took the information from two people instead of twenty or thirty?

I am watching the juror Q & A right now and it is exciting to see the jury going in the direction of Jodi is a stalker, manipulator, liar, etc. and "WHY DO YOU KEEP LOOKING AND SMILING AT JODY"??????

Good Morning to All! IIRC she said she did NOT interview anyone other than JA personally. Someone please correct me if I am wrong about this.

That's fine. You just can't complain, though, about the horror show we're witnessing and Travis' memory being dragged through the mud.

IMO

:seeya: I'm just asking here, don't take offense, but do you believe our judicial system should allow itself to be blackmailed into giving the defendant the sentence he or she would prefer?

I was trying to post this yesterday, but the attatchment feature was not working.

I found this SO strange. At the end when she got up, sat back down, then the deputy walked over and she kept rearranging the front of her desk. Then stood this pencil on its head then got admonished by the guard.

Just beyond bizarre. I believe she is ADHD in addition to her 10 personalities.

ETA: How do y'all post screenshots at regular size, not a thumbnail. Y'all are so fast at it. Do I have to use a 3rd party site?

That wasn't ADHD behavior. IMO, it was behavior of defiance and challenging directed at the security officer.

I wonder if she is still going to think the most "bitter words she will ever eat" are still "no jury will ever convict me", when Juan plays the footage of her saying "I would beg for the death penalty".

Yes, and it's important to remind the jury that bad things happen when Jodi doesn't get what she asks for.
