Where's your Moses now?

I don't think she will get DP either, she sure deserves it. We don't know how many of the jurors are submitting those questions, it could be one or two.

Beth Karas said last night that at least half of the jurors are submitting questions,

Anyone else leave their chair like this during breaks simply becuase it's Juan's turn and you fear you might miss something?

MUST KEEP FACING COMPUTER SCREEN, SOMETHING AMAZING MIGHT HAPPEN.

Hey, that's exactly what I do, and I have become very adept at walking around the house with laptop in the crook of my arm and an earbud, wipe crumbs from counter to floor, fix a fresh cup of coffee, etc. Matter of fact, I've become quite proficient doing things with one arm.

she said she would have QUIT if she didn't believe in this case. so how could she have believed in it this much if she never even SPOKE to other women TA dated, or his friends or family? she didn't know one thing about him except what they gave her, but she's SURE of her assessment of him.

wouldn't common sense alone tell her she wasn't getting the WHOLE story, and was only being given what the DT provided her?
Right...and as I keep harping (read abusing) on about she testified stalking can be defined by the reaction of the victim.

I've never seen a domestic violence advocate actually victim-blame at all, much less while testifying in front of an international audience. (And this goes beyond Travis, as a homicide victim, it extends to all stalking victims who don't, or can't, call the police and/or request restraining orders - and there are often many reasons some don't.)

So...even IF she didn't have all the evidence, she still willingly and knowingly threw her experience and education out the window because it didn't fit her presumptive pattern.

Yeah so the tax payers of Arizona can pay $300/hour to use up the time today, return next week aaaaand foot the bill for a hotel stay over the weekend.
Mouse, I'm thinking they'll be paying for a round trip ticket so she can go home, or to her speaking "events". It's disgusting.

the longer the defense keeps this lady up there the worse it is for their client: this testimony is the CRUX of their case. If they continue to get up there looking desperate it will just make it all the worse in the penalty phase. (<-----yes, I think there will be a penalty phase!)

there's no way there's gonna be anymore testimony today.
may as well pack it up.
sigh
I KNOW, right? So my question to me is, why am I still sitting here when I could put the pups in the car and drive 2 blocks for another one of those delicious Whamaburgers?

I agree! Jodie chose to give Travis the death penalty on June 4th she chose to sentence him to death. In a very cruel and heinous way.
She deserves to be held accountable for her actions on that over day. Her over kill was done in rage.

I believed in the death penalty for years until getting into the research behind the unfairness with which it is applied. I don't think this thread is necessarily the place for a debate on it though. I don't think she will get it, regardless of the institutional problems behind it.

Personally I can't root for the death of another human. I've been an atheist for my entire life, I have no higher authority I answer to - I just can't take pleasure in ending anyone's life for any reason.

It is nice to know I can go kill one person and won't be guilty because I don't have a pattern of behavior of killing people. Okay......

JWs tone has got to be infuriating to the jury.
She might as well be saying "let's clear this all up. Everything should be soooo obvious but the dumb jury just isn't getting it".
What in the world is she thinking by conducting herself in this way?? Unbelievable.

Well she has had plenty of opportunities to salvage her reputation by the jurors and the prosecutor each time they asked her if her opinion/assessment would change if she was aware of certain facts/testimony and she refused every time.

True indeed, that is why I believe she is agenda driven, personal agenda.
