since the judge told ALV that THIS is the priority, leads me to believe that this is not about any health issues that ALV might be having.....so it has to be about her approaching Sam in court the other day.....it just has to be....IMO

I think it's reagarding the defenses motion for mistrial filed on monday ..... talks about ALV being harrassed and Pros misconduct.

JMO and all that

When did she approach Samantha? How do we know this?

There was a witness.see court observer thread. Was also media on it

who knew? if she'd just read wayne dyer 5 years ago, none of this would've happened!

I would have preferred that she continued on the path of growing weed on mom's roof. Maybe that way, she would have been eating a second helping of Captain Crunch rather than plotting the murder of her ex-boyfriend.

Yes, Juan had her for 30 minutes and she ended up in the ER that weekend.

I could walk into ER right now if I felt like making a point about someone putting pressure on me .. she may have been genuine, or it may have been 'helpful' to an argument being made on, well, Monday perhaps.

Just my current opinion, subject to change.

I did not take it this way......I took it to mean to get all of your appointments rescheduled or what ever you need to do....but be here as this is the priority

You certainly could be right, it could be interpreted in more than one way. The JudgeSS just seemed far more direct and not willing to accomodate than she usually is. She's let many others phone in for their part, but clearly wasn't going to give this option to ALV.

I think it's the. Samantha thing

am i the only one who sees the irony that a shrink with 35 yrs experience checks into the ER for a panic attack?
(please say say yes 'cause my SO thought I was being a jerk for making this point. He's a really nice person.)

What is the deal with Ms Wong that she would have to have an attorney?

Because it happened during her employment with a company. The company would want her to have the attorney. Moo

Spot on, this.

Seems a little too convenient, doesn't it? Pathetic.

Ok, someone please help me! Is this ACTUAL grounds for a mistrial? Should we worry? Or is it just typical defense team desperation?

No don't worry...

Nothing that has happened inside or outside that courtroom is grounds for a mistrial.

Mistrial motions filed by the defense is a very common occurrence in trials.
I can't think of a trial that I have watched over the years were the defense hasn't asked for a mistrial.

Well technically she's not a shrink but yeah, I thought it was kind of funny that someone in a mental health profession wouldn't be able to self diagnose a panic attack and end up in the ER.

Or perjury with today's testimony???:please::please::please:
but alv was not in any chambers today was she? Didn't I hear the judge say at the end of court to her that ALV knew what this was about? so it has to be about Sam....no?

  • #3,837
Nope. I heard a disgusted judge tell her- don't whine to me about your personal business...just do as I say and show up.

I was spot on then. From what I saw f the trial today I both saw and felt a huge change in JS demeanor towards dear Alyce. At first I was thinking oh she is tired, oh this has gone on long enough etc.
But I really felt she is sick, sick, sick, of Alyce and she also now has her number.

They may want her film. If they do, and she doesn't turn it over, she'll need an attorney.

IN My Opinion:
Anything that goes on now, anything that the defense may throw for motions, is a setup for appeal. They are building a foundation..It would have to be something pretty darn bad for a mistrial.. I'd be more afraid of what the jury may see then anything else at this point in the trial.

Again This is Just My Opinion.
