So this "outline of a person in TA's eye," witness is supposed to prove: Arias was in fact kneeling when taking pictures of Travis Alexander before Arias stabbed Travis Alexander almost 30 times, slit his throat, and shot him in the head."

I do not understand how this would help the defense - I did not realize that the biggest question in the juror's minds was, "if the defense could show that Arias was in fact kneeling - then Arias must have murdered Travis Alexander in self defense by stabbing him almost 30 times, slicing his throat, and shooting him in the head - this explains why Arias took every effort to conceal her trip to Travis Alexander's home before she murdered him - this explains why Arias destroyed evidence, lied to police, ect."

Can you really blame Nurmi? He's done the bare minimum, throwing temper tantrums and trashing a victim for months and is getting paid thousands and thousands of dollars at the expense of Arizona taxpayers.... of course he wants a mistrial. He knows his client is going to be convicted so he wants to do this again and get paid all over again and drag this out.
