So what happened? Why wasn't there any testimony? I thought it was supposed to start at 1:30 but it hadn't started by the time I left work and couldn't watch till now.

****. Just heard on HLN it's being reported that one of the dead is a 8 year old child.
I can't bring myself to thank this post. My family was in the OK bombing. This is bringing back some horrible memories. Such a sad day.

Sorry for the O/T mods.

Sorry AngelWings!

Hello Kitty! :) :seeya:

:seeya:

Sadly, NG isn't reporting on the trial yet...as most everyone can imagine.

Prayers for all those in Boston.

:praying:

NG said she will get to the trial later on.

Motion for Mistrial Denied. Hearing on last defense witness produced stipulation that the photo of Travis in the shower at 5:29:30 (?), last one prior to the first accidental photo, does not show a weapon in JA's hand (either gun or knife). They had planned to call a photo expert (earlier testfied for state re: sex tape) to argue for enhanced image analysis of left eye.

Juan raised the specter of JA's twitter account. Expect to see formal motion to suppress her tweeting as prejudicial, also as she is a witness in the case and thus enjoined from commenting during trial phase.

Judge heard closed testimony on matters involving photo and ALV. We know about the stipulation but the ALV matter still conjectural.

IMO this stipulation fits perfectly with the states theory of the crime. It changes nothing.

If you listen to Juan's opening... He says after she lures him into a vulnerable position under the guise of picture taking.... She then pulls out the knife and plunges it into Travis.

No one ....but people here ...said he was held or forced at gun point or knife point while pics were taken,

At about 1:04:44 - The judge says the sealed meeting at 1:15 was with ALV.
On Friday she gave her the choice of doing it today or tomorrow. She obviously chose today..

I do not believe ALV was in court today. She decided last week to return Tuesday (tomorrow). The in chambers meeting has to do with whether or not the Nurmeister testimony would be allowed in. ALV is due tomorrow ..

If it were about the new testimony it wouldn't have been sealed. It was ALV.

Yep, no problem for the state here.

Repost

LE = Law Enforcement.

Another person would expiate a faster get away. Remember, his roommate was usually due home around this time.

Why was there a window screen on the grass in the backyard? Travis seemed like a very meticulously neat person so I can't see him leaving a screen laid out on his lawn like that.

I believe LE just doesn't want to take this story down that road. There are too many unknowns and variables. So they're going on with what they know for certain.

Of course this is my opinion and not likely to change any time soon ;)

That person has no loyalty for or fear of any one. I don't believe she would ever keep silent about accomplices because her cold self-preservation would never allow it.

If you can't help her, you're just in her way. And as we've all learned, you don't want to be in her way.

I haven't seen anything from anyone there in the media that they actually saw ALV today. I wonder if she did this by phone....

JSKS said this a.m. that ALV was there and scheduled for 1:15 AZ Time today.

The sealed hearing with ALV happened prior to the stipulation this p.m.

Azlawyer quote: "The jury is not going to see that picture at all. That was the whole point of the stipulation. They will not see the blown-up eye photo, they will not hear from "eye guy," none of it.

That was my point, maybe I didn't phrase it right.......it was just another "straw" grasped by the defense to no avail.

Actually, the judge gave Alyce the option to return on Monday or Tuesday. There was a sealed hearing with Alyce TODAY. The agreement to the stipulation was finalized behind closed doors (after the ALV meeting) BUT the Daubert hearing took place in open court.

Regardless of whether Jodi was holding a weapon at that moment, she had one handy.
There was the bathrobe hanging right next to the shower. A weapon could've been hid in a bathrobe pocket. Two weapons were used by Jodi, and she's a smirky, cruel killer, IMO.

I think Jodi was holding a gun on him while she took the pictures, but it would be very, very difficult for Juan to prove it in the reflection pictures. I couldn't see it at first, had to do some playing around with the color in Photoshop to be able to see what I saw. If I find it again, I will repost it.:moo::twocents:
