JA has been in jail for almost 5 years. She hasn't had access to all those little pleasures ($tarbucks, etc). So a conviction isn't going to be anything new except it makes it official and she'll be in state prison rather than Sheriff Joe's jail. She's already used to being in a cell and doing without.

Let us talk about what she has been doing WITH like singing with her friends in little contests, interacting with fellow inmates, tweeting to whoever will listen thru a friend, CONTROLLING her fellow inmates like she loves to do, sending stealth messages to whoever will listen with code, and who knows what else? If she gets the DP, that will all be taken away.....She deserves NONE of those Freedoms IMO.

Sorry, but I think she will get a male on the outside. Someone will declare their love for her. I posted the other day that an acquaintance of mine has a father sentenced to life in prison and his dad has been married 4 times while in a prison. Beyond comprehension for me.

I was just imagining that she may be able to conduct several relationships like this contemporaneously. She'd be able to play them all with the same correspondence. She will have lots of "resources" at her disposal. I k ow there are a lot of wingnuts out there who consider themselves the only one capable of "understanding" her.

Oohhhh I disagree. State prison is a whole different animal from county jail. The people in county jails are there short term. Most are in and out on bond in just a day. The inmates in prison are doing "hard time" as they say. There are hierarchal gang structures and systematized abuse for selected inmates. It's not the same.

I think so too. I think the prisoners work at stylists. (barbers etc)

If you look at pictures, the prisoners have haircuts.

In looking back through the court minutes it appears that the knife first theory provides another benefit to the state. It was argued that if the gun was first he didn't suffer as much thus taking away from the enhancements required for the DP

I was always of the thought she said that because she instinctivelye knew that she could never describe the stabbing because it was so horrible, violent and deliberate that people would hate her. The gunshot she could try and explain away, and use as the flashpoint for her memory loss. But describing the stabbing in any way shape or form would render her a monster. She could never be portrayed as sympathetic of she had to testify to such brutality. She knew this instinctively, because she is aways hiding the ugly.

I saw the German shepherd when he pointed it out.

I did not and do not see whatever that "expert" had drawn on the photo. Who holds a camera the way that the expert drew? How could Jodi possibly get her elbows up that high and why???? I think it's a mistake for the DT to even want to show the picture with the lines. Without is more powerful. I was actually thinking about what they were saying before seeing the picture with the lines. After I saw that, I just lost the script.

Can you imagine if the Jury actually would have had to hear and see this ... junk? It's so ludicrous. :banghead:
