You're lucky the stairs were there to assist you. I've lived a very different life than most.

You are lucky to have not known the men I have known. Slapping was for fun.

I'm sorry to hear that. I get very upset when I hear about men hitting women. My sister was in a very abusive relationship. One day something told me to drive by her house as I approached her house she came running out with him behind her. I told her to get in. In that moment I had a choice, run him over or back up. I had a clutch so I inched forward then at the last second I backed up. That's when I told her you need to leave him or I'm gonna end up in jail. I Couldn't take this SOB beating my sister he was 6'2 210 and my sister was 5'1 80 lbs. I had a really bad temper. I had to watch myself when I got mad. Thank goodness I've calmed down with age.

I'm 5'1, 105 lbs..........I've been amazed at what I can do if I'm backed into a corner, but most people don't want to mess with a little gal who throws 120 lb bales of hay and takes the buck out of a 1000 lb horse. But I don't wave .25 at big guys either!:noooo:

I'm glad you feel confident in your abilities.

As one internet friend to another I ask you to please not get overconfident in them and ever get yourself into a dangerous situation because of it.

There are some wackos out there with very bad tempers and they don't care. They simply don't care. There are some that even enjoy it. It's a sad world.

Please take care of yourself. Stick with your horses. :cupcake:

I think we will get a good sense of how the jury feels based on their questions for the state's psychologist. If they have few questions, that will definitely be good sign.

Just about anything will be a good sign at this point. The prosecutor has been personally attacked and the defense witnesses are complete whack jobs. The guy today ... with the ... I can see Jodi in the reflection of the murder victim's eyeball. Hello. Is this nuts or what ... nuts like the mind of a photographer nuts. Jodi is calling the shots with her defense lawyers and they should be embarrassed for their client ... presenting eyeball reflection evidence in defense of murder.

... it's nuts

You just posted what I was too tired to write and post, right down to the Rorschach test. Now I have to ask a question: I don't understand why they needed to stipulate. Would Neumeister testifying have made any difference?

Probably another 5 days on the stand.

Coming in late, but CNN cut off just when they were about to announce Jodi's tweeting. Can anyone bring me up to speed on that one?

I was surprised that a prisoner had access to a phone and twitter. How did that happen?

Briefly, iirc during a DT motion JM stated that the defendant was tweeting through Donovan B, yet he, the prosecutor was repeatedly being accused of misconduct. However, he declined to go any further and told JSS he had no intention of filing a complaint with the court.

I didn't get my confidence or self esteem back until I divorced my 2 abusive ex's. Still have an ingrained "Flight or Fight" response, which is good! (well, and carry a .357 mag, but that's just for varmints!)

Don't hold your breath on this verdict, just because SOME love jm, doesn't mean most do and we have seen in the CA trial, it's best not to assume. Don't like him myself, he could handle this so different and still get a conviction, but hey that's JMO

I actually think, given the circumstance the DT is doing a good job. They didnt pick her to defend...............remember

It is nuts, she already confessed to killing him so of course she was there. Her palm print was there. I don't understand what this defense is all about. I think this jury is not buying her side of the story. They know she's a pathological liar and she killed Travis. There were no defensive wounds to speak of. She should have at least given herself a black eye and some bruises. I'm can't wait until it's over.

I actually think the DT pointed out some good things today.

I really think they could have done better if the had picked a slightly different approach. And pushing so hard on this pedophilia thing was a huge mistake.

But when the truth is not on your side, you're going to have a very difficult climb.

But STOP the comparing this to the CA trial. They are so different and, judging from the questions, this jury is much smarter.

That Jodi was holding them camera when she took the picture? That they think it's a good idea to contradict what Jodi testified to which is that she was kneeling when she took the picture? They should be grateful Juan decided to stipulate with them. They would have looked like fools in front of the jury.

I remember JM stating that his office brought it to his attention because the office is investigating the tweeting activity. Judge S. said she wouldn't make a determination until / if a motion is entered.

Falling asleep at the computer, better get to bed. I just want to say that today's tragedy in Boston was unbelievable. My condolences to the families and friends who lost their loved ones. To the people who will suffer wounds for the rest of their life, may you find peace. Goodnight.

I think the defense wants to argue that she was merely taking pictures and didn't corner him in the shower, making him sit in a vulnerable position to stab him. They somehow think that this will make her story of dropping the camera more believable.

I agree with you and others - it's nuts. I think JM just thought it was better to stipulate that she didn't have weapons out by that time rather than allowing the DT to make a huge issue out of it, possibly drawing attention to something that was never an issue with the jury to begin with. Smart move.

What a colossal waste of the court's time. The prosecution never said she had the weapons out in that picture. The fact remains, the evidence of premeditation is overwhelming and the brutal murder was carried out.

I know he may not be loved,
but any juror that has hung on this long, only does it because they take their position seriously. I really think they are taking everything to heart whether it be from defense/pros. It's coming down to the end and although both attorneys are doing what they can, the evidence will be the deciding factor.

1. The victim's siblings sat feet away from the killer, until the horror of that was finally fixed by placing the killer at the other end of the court room.
2. Hours were spent on what may or may not be seen in the victim's eye. Finally stipulated that the reflection does not show some one holding a weapon.
3. JM did not prosecutorially misconduct.
4. Jodi tweeted, and the sheriff controls what she does, unless it adversley affects the trial

so basically a total waste of a day.

She was doing it through Donovan, her jail buddy, would call her on the phone and Donovan would tweet what JA wanted tweeted.

I'm really glad that JM got that on the record today. The DT is going to have a difficult time arguing on one hand that this trial has become a media circus and she can't get a fair trial, when on the other hand their client is sending out tweets through a friend. She's obviously not concerned one iota about it.

I actually think she truly believes her client. I know this because in her pursuit to prove her innocent, she unknowingly proves her guilty.
