PDS test explained by DeMarte

Samuels provided her a bubble sheet as raw data from the PDS. Bubble sheet typically created by giving answer sheet and questionnaire to patient. Not typical to write their answers and then fill out the bubble sheet yourself. Not protocol. Danger of human error if patient does not fill out the bubble sheet themselves.

DeMarte was under the impression JA filled out the answer sheet. Barring extreme reason for Samuels to have filled that out rather than JA, it is concerning and totally outside of protocol.

The question sheet was not provided to DeMarte. Only the bubble sheet he himself had filled out. DeMarte had to seek out copy of the questionnaire. She then determined that JA had claimed her PTSD event was an encounter with a stranger. Specific trauma originally listed was NOT TA. It was a "stranger".

Would invalidate the entire test and resulting evaluation.

Too many posts to read far enough back to know if we have decided whether the Doctor supervised ALV in the past. I was able to use HLN to pause/translate:

JM: You indicated you also supervised those with a Master's in this field, specifically what did you do with regard to them?

Dr D: Individuals who have a Master's degree typically do not do evaluations so I did not train them how to do evaluations, rather my primary role with them was to train them how to be clinicians, how to be therapists.

JM: We had somebody by the name Alyce LaViolette who testified here. Are you familiar with her?

Dr. D: Yes!

JM: And in terms of where she falls on this continuum of education, where would she fall?

Dr. D: She has her Master's degree in counseling, or marriage and family counseling.

JM: Is she somebody that, you told us that you supervised these individuals, would she be somebody that you also supervised in your previous position?

Dr. D: Yes

JW: Objection, relevance
