Passive aggressive Jodi....PRETENDING she doesn't care. Pretending this testimony does not matter....and SHE is NOT interested. :)

After all these weeks, I have a small hunch that Wilcott uses the "APPROACH" as a crutch. :)

I dunno about Dr. DeMarte. She's smart and appears to be very prepared, which is a refreshing change, BUT there's no getting around the fact that she's relatively young and may not come off as "wise and worldy" enough to the jury. I was very surprised that she hadn't heard of Your Erroneous Zones. It's old and outdated, but it's a major grand-daddy of self-help books. Maybe it just shows how old I am ;(.

Will JA at least look up to give the death glare when Dr. Demarte talks about her in the same sentence as the mentally ill? No? Guess not. Keep coloring murderer.

Jodi knows this woman has got her number and she does not like it.

Willmont is wishing she knew what they were talking about. And I still thnk everytime she approaches or objects the jury has to think that the DT doesn't want them to know what JM is about to say. It would appear to me that they are hiding evidense or something. jmo

AL was subjective in her approach. Well, there's a poser.

If Juan wasn't such a fabulous prosecutor, he'd make an excellent conductor!

He's sauntering up to the bench today. Love it!

I has been my opinion throughout this trial that Juan is not necessarily talking loud, he kind of always talks loud, but what he usually does is just talk very fast, that is just not the same as yelling at someone.

I had a boss once that normally talked loud, but when he got excited he talked much faster, but it wasn't really louder, much like I see Juanderful.:seeya:
I recently rewatched the state's case in its entirety (made me really appreciate how effective and efficient the presentation was compared to what we saw over 38 days of the defense's case) and came to the same conclusion. The loudness of his voice, speech patterns and how he moves across the courtroom are all part of his style more than anything else.

...did you read ALV's report....oh wait you couldn't have.....!!!!

Cannot unring that bell JW!
She was PISSED!!
And lol at Jodi's attempt to appear disinterested.

It's obvious when you look at the set of her jaw, arched eyebrows, and pinched lips, she's extremely upset about this witness, probably on several levels.

Again, there's jealousy over the disparity between herself and the witness. Also, Dr. D is systematically dissembling her entire defense - objectively.

Dmarte would have chosen not to use the MCMI test that Samuels used on JA because it is generally used on people already diagnosed with psych issues.

ALV used a different much more subjective approach. No report was written, she did not have any documentation or test results I could look at.

No way to discern how ALV reached her results so that DeMarte could evaluate if she agreed or not wit ALV findings.

DM sounds VERY knowledgeable but more importantly she sounds like SHE ACTUALLY MAKES SENSE.

She answers the questions directly without having to explain why her answer shouldn't sound as weird as it does...like ALV.
