Somebody throw her a life preserver I can't stand to watch.

Nice Dr. Demarte corrected JW AGAIN!

  • #2,410
JW playing silly word games in an attempt to trip the witness. Won't work, JW. She's smarter than you. :moo:

She is soooo much smarter than JW ...

  • #2,411
This is bizarre. What is JW trying to get to?

  • #2,412
How long do you guys think it will take Wilmott to cross examine Dr. D?

  • #2,413
JW is trying to make Dr. D look inexperienced and all she is doing is showing what a superstar she is in her field.

  • #2,414
Man-what a breath of fresh air listening to a witness that is human and knows what she's talking about. Very professional after the ones the defense has had on the stand.
It's a joy listening to someone that actually can answer questions without all the run around like we have seen previously.
Now if we could just get the helium queen to move on.

Where have you been, I know JA has been doodling some dear diary entries, you got anything??

  • #2,415
The fact the entire Defense was crushed in less than a full day of testimony is unbelievable..

  • #2,416
Holy heck. Dr. D ia NOT impressed with JW. While listening to questions Dr D pours her water and CORRECT JW at the same time. While JW is still asking said question.

Owned.

Just a thought, but Dr. Demarte was excellent in her evaluation of JA. Most of us knew all those things just not the official term of her mental disorder. Sociopath would have been close though. It was wonderful to see and hear her testimony in comparrison to the defense witnesses.

I fear that the jury will take sympathy now on Jodie, realizing she has a mental defect which began as a child and therefore not see it so much for murder in cold blood----What the Defense Teams mental defect is, I am not sure. They should at least get gave them LWOP for cabbage brain.

Don't hate me but I cannot help but give someone with a "Diagnosed" mental disorder a little more consideration when it comes to murder. Still might come up with Death Penalty---but would not be going into the jury room "totally convinced" DP was warranted.

Am I horrible???
You're unlikely to hear a diagnosis of sociopath from anyone because its not a diagnosis. Psychopathy isn't yet - but will be blended with antisocial in the next DSM. Now, it's rarely used, except in cases of pure forensic psychiatry/psychology.

Honestly, I'd have more compassion for a chemical imbalance or something she couldn't control. Ultimately, Jodi chose to kill Travis - BPD, ASPD, NPD, HPD neither remove or impair cognitive function or decision-making processes from those afflicted. They make a conscious decision at a fork in the road to either get treatment or hurt others. But it is always a choice.

So from me, no compassion. Let Willmott imply I'm heartless! I can handle it! ;)

JMO (And a previously admitted bias!)
