I was watching Wilmott, she has not looked directly at this witness as far as I can see, but keeps her head down even if she's not writing. JA appears to be busy with her scribblings, not wanting to look as if she's paying attention at all. They're not chatting now!

I think JA is stressssed!! You can tell her anxiety is coming out by the way she is scribbling. Definietly no chatting or middle school giggling today! :great:

FINALLY sanity prevails!! We have here a beautiful, articulate, UNBIASED scientist who is not going to freak out on cross examination.

She found Jodi to be disordered. I LOVE IT.

I know Jodi is highly agitated and rageful right now due to her little act of pretending that she wasn't even listening. We know that she was listening to each and every syllable since it was about her favorite subject--Jodi Arias.

I hope she has a hard time swallowing her peanut butter! Time to face up to your own psychological disorders and the cold blooded murder you committed, Jodi.

She may hear it but she will never accept it! In her skewed view, the entire world is wrong and she's the only one who is right. I'm sure she's quite disgusted with the current testimony.

Amazing. This expert witness has not told us any lengthy anecdotes about her clients from 20 yrs ago....

.... nor has she relied on romcom movies or women's magazines...and so far...no stories about boiling frogs......:what:

Oh that is right, she is about due one.

Nah. The judge will just be all "is she taking her Imitrex? Yes. So she's fine? Can we press on then?"

Don't want to interrupt the flow here but wanted to make a comment about Jodie's glasses. IMO, Jodie is not wearing them today because she did not wear them during Dr. DeMarte's two visits to her. We know she doesn't need them anyway.

* Jodie is sssoooo jealous of Dr. DeMarte. She really doesn't want to acknowledge Dr. DeMarte because this is someone who has her number!

Jodie's intelligence or IQ??? Intelligence is of no use unless you apply it!

MOO's

Jodi hates that she wasn't able to fool Dr. DeMarte like she did her own expert witnesses.:floorlaugh:

<modsnip>

Notice how all morning JM was extremely careful to enunciate the "Dr." every time he referred to Dr. Samuels when eliciting the FACTS from Demarte on the stand. You just know this was in direct response to Nurmi's allegation that JM engaged in prosecutorial misconduct and witness intimidation by accidentally referring to the good Dr. as Mr. at one point.

Have they noticed Juan talks WITHOUT notes. Every time I see JW, she has to look at her notes.. say's a lot about JM's devotion to this case.
MOO

I think it's amazing. I can't remember where my shoes are two minutes after taking them off.

One more example of his brilliance.

yea, this is me today!

I can't imagine how murderous she is feeling right now.

The beauty of this witness is that she has exposed the psychopath, the worst thing that could happen to her. She has validated our guesses. Now, any time we look at her, we know exactly what's going on behind that impassive facade, 24/7.

Exactly. She murdered Travis to stop him from exposing her, to stop him from saying exactly these words. No wonder she doesn't dare to look up.

Actress to play Demarte: Maggie Gyllenhaal

Or maybe Pahusacheta Nahaspeemapetilon

I am SOOOOOOO looking forward to Willmott v. DeMarte, I'm like a little kid going to the candy store.

:genie: Me too, although I must admit I am a little terrified of watching JW talk like an electric Chihuahua again

Well, I'm from Michigan and people from Michigan are known to sound "nasally" is that what your hearing?

O/T Just for a moment.

Lived in Metro area of Detroit for 23 years in my formative years. I graduated from University of Michigan. That is the only down fall she went to Michigan State.. Boooo (just kidding.. little football rivalry there). :-)

I still miss many things we use to do when my family lived in the Metro area esp Greek town, Pine Knob concerts in the summer, etc *sigh* oh well

((((((((chijojo)))))))

I'm sending prayers your way.

She can even do her own illuminating with gold leaf. Seeing as how she's an artist, and all.

Maybe she thinks of herself as Bartleby the Scrivener - copying works, and refusing to leave when asked over and over.....

Oh a little Trivia. The cost of the MMPI is very expensive. I don't know what it is now. To give you base of reference to the cost. In 1997, the cost to administer the MMPI was $400.00. So I can imagine how much it cost now.

It has to be judicially given to clients based on budgets!!!!

Been there Done that.

If she did the forensic version of the MMPI-2, and assuming no volume discounts, it would be $22.50 for the answer sheet. The $62.75 for scoring once. ($85.25) BUT, we know that she ran it twice for validation, so it would come out to $148. If I understand what test and report she gave. (Also, I'm not using the latest revised test.)

Please let me know if I'm wrong.
