I agree - I was almost certain she was an antisocial/narcissistic combo.

At least I was right about PD though. That 99p I spent on my free decod- oh, I mean my psych degree, was so worth it! :great:

That was my diagnosis as well, Doctor. I should have got the deluxe decoder ring.

We'll have to agree to disagree about this. My sister is the youngest in the family and was not abused or neglected. If anything, she was spoiled rotten and had a sense of entitlement within the family, at school, etc.

Same with the two that I personally know.

Half a day on the stand and Dr. DeMarte has successfully rehabilitated the word "pattern." No doubt "context" will be next!

Jurors are attentive and taking notes. Still no questions in the bin. A staple noise by the staple lady is heard. #JodiArias

There are 9 criteria for BPD in the DSM-IV, candidate must display 5 or more of the 9.

We are at 6/7 so far and have exceeded the minimum of 5 for BPD.

Thankfully, Dr. DeMarte's "patterns" are different from the patterns that ALV looked for.

This is fascinating. I'm so glad there is a professional who really got into the mind and behavior of Jodi Arias.

  • #736
I don't know why but I swear it's driving me insane!!! You how hard she has to work at NEVER even glancing up!!! :banghead: <<<< not my head.

AZW, it's a sign she knows she's in trouble, knows she's losing, and doesn't know what normal behavior is in this situation. JMO

wow, I am totally loving this witness, she explains everything very clearly and without spouting off about old clients or movies she's seen.

  • #738
Like when my super-shy daughter was little and thought we couldn't see her if she covered her eyes.

Really mature there, Jodes.

You mean that doesn't work? Oh no, peeking out from behind my fingers.
