I agree - I was almost certain she was an antisocial/narcissistic combo.

At least I was right about PD though. That 99p I spent on my free decod- oh, I mean my psych degree, was so worth it! :great:

She does fit the criteria for psychopathy,IMO. She can have other disorders and/or their traits.

Yeah that whole thing with how he scored the tests blew out my hinky meter. Asking her the questions, writing answers himself on a legal pad? then transferring them to the bubble sheet?? Then scoring by hand??? Then REDOING IT later by himself?!?!?!! SO SO Strange. I always wondered if he was trying to save money by not using the real bubble sheet or an entire test kit or something, aside from possibly skewing the results.

What's the funny ridiculous truth IIRC is that the reason Dr ( really?) Samuels says he hand scored her test was because he " forgot" to bring a bubble sheet to jail when he administered the test. Aaaaargh. Such a nincompoop :banghead:

I just knew it: sidebar... :nevermind:

Very convincing witness. Does the jury get to ask her questions?

wildabouttrial says no questions in the bin yet. very good sign, IMO. they get it.

Well this is a bit more professional. The DT review the evidence and JA keeps colouring.... JA leans over quickly but JW didn't even look up.

Is there just the one diagnosis?

  • #769
theres a surprise, they have to approach

  • #770
I knew they'd want to approach.

Wilmott has discreetly slid away from Jodi & her pencils

There are 9 criteria for BPD in the DSM-IV, candidate must display 5 or more of the 9.

We are 7/8 so far and exceeded the minimum for BPD.

I am mesmorized by the fact she will not even look up. I think she is seething. Wonder what the jury thinks of this.

  • #774
Is inappropriate frenetic writing without ever looking up a symptom of BPD?

  • #775
Why does JW smirk everytime this Dr says something applies to Jodi...

  • #776
Pennies in the kettle folks, pennies...OMG they take soooooooooo long to read. WTF?

  • #777
i don't know why but this expert's testimony is making me feel sorry for jodi in a way.

i hate that.

Just hold steady...those inappropriate feelings shall pass soon.

It's no wonder the boyfriends didn't get help for her, as long as things were fine she was just what they wanted, once she lost it they just wanted to wash their hands and get away. And the parents were out of the picture from a very young age.

She should have been in treatment, but no-one cared enough to make it happen, and Jodi was too far gone, and couldn't afford it herself.

Just tragic all the way around.

This is by far the best testimony yet. I could listen to this all day! I hope the jury is as interested in this. As has been said, fits like a glove!

Me too!!! And of course my coworkers have chosen today, of all days, to be as LOUD and annoying as possible. I'm getting SO MAD!!!

I've said BPD from the get-go. Not an expert but have experience with a family member who was diagnosed with BPD.

This statement applies to me also (with regard to JA's diagnosis, and, unfortunately, a family member.) But I see JA as having BPD with extreme psychopathology... I'm praying my family member doesn't go down that road... :please:
