I hope someone posts screenshots of JA's expressions from today :) I love reading about it, but seeing it again would just make my night! :)

Someone want to hand Jennifer a map. She is completely lost. She needs to get to this case but apparently took a wrong turn at Albuquerque.

Yeah, she was following the map Jodi made!!

I keep expecting JW to say to DD....

"Isn't it true that MY mommy can beat up YOUR mommy?"

:cursing:

All in All what I've got to see of Dr DM testimony... Well...

She's awesome! She definitely has the ability to provide information with factual documented examples.. She also has validated what many of us felt was going on with JA..

IDK all in all was Juan good day of court!

I believe JW is 'hammering' on the CV until court is in recess tonight - 14 more minutes - to kill time and be better prepared tomorrow......

Yes, I think Ms. Willmont got caught unprepared, looks like she thought JM would take the rest of the day with his witness and surprise surprise, JW.

Dissociation is a learned skill so that a person can take a step out of their mind. Only in rare cases of severe abuse and over a period of time.

JW can't find a weak link she keeps trying to circle around to get her 'Gotcha' but Dr DM has no Gotcha she's too sharp!!

Every time she tries to discredit Dr. DeMarte, it totally backfires. "Oh, so you took an entire year to get your license? You could have got it right away?" LOL at JW when Dr. D said she did it intentionally to gain more experience.

Juan is probably so proud of his witness!

I cannot watch Jennifer Wilmott without thinking of Legally Blonde. If only she had the blonde hair, she has Reese Witherspoon's act down pat. And she always appears to be waiting for a bombshell or Perry Mason moment. Not going to come JW. You should be prepared. This is not a Hollywood movie.

Oh and I love the way JM would have had his witness on nd off the stand in an hour if the defense hadn't been objecting all the way.

  • #2,530
I'm guessing Willmott was just stalling because she wasn't prepared yet for substantive cross examination.
This is stalling? She's not very effective at it. :waitasec:

Whoa - both defense experts had far less education and experience - and did not speak nearly as coherently.

It's amazing how easy it is to tell the truth, use standard tests and adhere to protocol

Zoozoo, anybody can give a lecture, but not everyone is a Keynote Breakout Speaker. Oh wait, yes there are multiple keynote breakout speakers.

...keynote breakout speaker with a "catchy title".....:floorlaugh:

I just got a weird notice that one of my posts wouldnt be visible til approved by moderator - but I think it was because I quoted something with a bad word it in.

Been there, done that!

I wish Dr. D would have said something like "my CV would be pages and pages long if I added every keynote address and lecture I have given. That would be ridiculous."

Her answer was perfect. Her patients are more important than keeping up with her CV.

  • #2,536
If only Dr. Demarte updated her CV with her official position on Disney characters as victims, maybe JW wouldn't be so hysterical...

  • #2,537
that was excruciating to watch, willmot really need to re-think her approach for tomorrow. imo it is not making her look good to the jury.

dr demarte is more than qualified, and she will not win this battle with her

Excruciating is the exact word. JW got her butt handed to her and made janeen look even better than she is, and she's already GREAT!!

  • #2,538
Dr. D doesn't add every single lecture to her CV because doing so is secondary to seeing her patients. Unlike Alyce, who included every song she's ever listened to!

But Alyce never brought her CV did she? Wonder why? :)

  • #2,539
jw thought she was being flippant, giving lectures to middle school students. no the teachers. i had to laugh, jw you set your self up for that answer. moo

  • #2,540
It would be interesting to see if she stayed within the lines.
Rembrandts are not easy to do you know.

It's hard not to mix up the #50 and #53 shades of grey.. (you know, paint by number, sort of)
