I wonder if the childhood friend sold the photos to HLN? Or do they not pay for things like that?

Of course she sold them to HLN, which is why "NG EXCLUSIVE" is stamped all over them. I guess her "friend" thought she'd better sell them while the market was hot. I personally find this practice revolting (and all of the so called "news" outlets do it). And this "friend" told how JA was so poor that the friend's dad paid for her dress and travel to the wedding, and JA "suprised" her, then went on to say that JA had so kindly offered to do all the photography for the wedding. I wonder why Ms. Former Prosecutor didn't pick up on that little inconsistency?

does anyone else worry that this borderline personality disorder assessment might make the jurors go lightly on Arias because of her mental issues?

Not worried about the conviction. I think the only thing it will maybe do is weigh in with the sentencing part. Think this will just push more people away from death and toward LWOP.

I wasn't comparing cases--- I was comparing relative popularity in prison. I think Jodi will be as well liked in prison by other inmates as Betty was.

No doubt she will be liked. Her current fellow jail mates practically worship the ground she walks on. :what:

Right.

On the issue of popularity I think we already have sufficient evidence based on her last 4? years in jail that she's very good at getting along with other people when she wants to.

It's scary.

She poses no threat physically so the mental game there is over. The other inmates aren't going to LOOK at her and instantly think they need to know if they can beat her or not. She just doesn't present as a threat that way.

Thank-you maybe 30 plus years ago. LOL.

Juan reminds me of an Aztec warrior!

Once beautiful, always beautiful. When your beauty is from within.

30 years pffftttsshhh!

Not having seen you, I think you are just lovely based on your words! :seeya:

I'm thinking that JA's mother is at this trial day after day for the most part, because she wants to understand who her daughter is, and what is wrong with her.
Sad that it took a heinous murder to get her to pay attention. But who knows what all kinds of torment that woman has endured because of Jodi? Yreka is a small town; and let me tell you, secrets are hard to keep when everyone knows everyone.

On the subject of Travis taking Jodi to Cancun.

I agree that if Travis agreed to take Jodi to Cancun, she would not have killed him...........when she did.

It this an "all brunettes look alike" sort of thing because I sure don't see any resemblance beyond skin and hair color.

Jodi has mestizo facial features, in particular her eyes, whereas Janine just looks like an Anglo-Saxon. Her face is long (Anglo/Nordic feature) and more fleshy than Jodi's small, squarish face. Jodi is looking like a female skeletor now.

I thought today, she's starting to look kinda like Adam Lanza (Newtown shooter) from the side.

I know, I know. But a lot of folks he has treated, well, didn't fare so well and he is a TV personality. Not knocking his education...just sayin
I stand corrected.

Dr. Drew is not a psychiatrist. He is an internist.

Flashing one of the pictures of what she did to Travis will quickly solve that issue. imho

well, wait til you see her don glasses and then wear them JUDGE style.

I'm watching that part now !! :floorlaugh::floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

Who among you think that the DT would have been better off going with 'Temporary Insanity' or some kind of 'heat of the moment' defense rather than this whole self defense crock of simmering pig dung?

Yes?

No?

I think it was all Jodi's bright idea. She was probably a complete PITA too, hard as that is to believe. lol

If she'd had that big hot cup of STFU when she was first questioned and just asked for a lawyer, do you think she'd have gotten a 2nd degree plea? Then she'd only have about 10 or 15 years left to serve.

But noooooo. She wanted to be infamous.

I think if Jodi has a mental condition like bpd it should only be weighed in on when doing mitigation. JMO

I think they were caught off guard when JM finished so fast. They both jumped straight up and JW started getting her papers together. They were not expecting to have to cross today. jmo

Remember with Samuels and ALV, they passed the witness to Juan with 30 minutes to go and he made mincemeat of them in short order. They should have known King Juan may throw them a curve ball. The whole JA Team is fading fast. I wanna scream WAKE UP but...maybe not
