watch, JW will try to suggest Dr. D. is not as qualified as ALV because she does not lecture.

Uh, no, maybe she doesn't have time because she is actually busy working, evaluating and treating patients.

sigh. Gonna be a long day. I can tell already.

Actually... IIRC... when JW was asking why DD took like two months off for studying for her exam...

DD said she was teaching at the same time...

I am a retired teacher... And from experience know teaching is a very involved profession...

so... DD teaching AND studying for a major exam is nothing to snort at...

And in a sense... She was lecturing!

Poor Jodi - she has never made even $100. an hour in her lifetime.

Well . . . thinking about it - maybe she has! :what:

Wilmot's hair looks really different today. Could it be a wig?

I think she wears a wig every day. You can tell - her hair never moves.

Somebody throw JW a TOBOGGAN she's going DOWN HILL so fast she might as well enjoy the ride!! :floorlaugh: :floorlaugh:

  • #466
JW is so snarky. It's sickening.

HA, Nurmi has hired her too. Even he knows a good thing when he sees it :)

  • #469
So somehow JW seems to think DJD doesn't deserve to be paid as much as ALV and DS? If anything she should be paid more because she knows what she's doing and isn't biased. :what:

This questioning is ridiculous.

  • #471
This whole line of questioning is just....juvenile. Does she think she is going to catch this doctor on not having paid for a magazine advertisement?

It's so ridiculous. IF she can discredit this witness FINE....but let's get real  MOVE ON!

Better than AL. Works for both prosecution and defense as well as the court.

  • #473
Gawd, JW, you are so transparent, and you are making great points for the prosecution, so thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • #474
omg, this is torture listening to her snark.

  • #475
She was hired, therefore, liked, trusted and respected, BY THE COURT. I am sure the jury got that!

  • #476
she really needs to give this up... it's not working JW...

Wilmot's hair looks really different today. Could it be a wig?

I've actually wondered all along if she wears a wig. My SIL has cancer and is currently wearing a wig. She has a similar look to her hair.

JW w/Dr. D. -

I missed some of the beginning of testimony re: DV child witnesses grow up to be perpetrators . . .. I need to go back and listen to that part!!!!

What tests do you use now in your practice . . . we didn't talk about yesterday.

I listed multiple ones yesterday
RBands Neuropsychological Damage . . .

do you have other Dr's working with you?
2 others under contract - disability evaluations under Dr. D contract . . . she also does this same work under contract

you have an advertisement in Psychology Today?
it's a website . . . I also have a private practice website

Do you pay for this advertisement?
I haven't paid
have they asked you for money
no

offer free consult
that is part of the website verbage they use . . . if a patient is interested in therapy and they call me
$130 - 200 website range I fall into . . .
I charge $125 for therapy
sliding scale - box check - no
if someone could not afford and didn't have insurance they would have to look elsewhere.

if someone has insurance we are required to follow the contracted rate . .
less than $125 per hour - for some but not all . . . equivelnt not more

contrast that with forensic services
Prosecutor or defense Atty or plaintiff atty . . . or the court
or $250 for testimony and $300 per trial interviews

yesterday and today you are making $300 per hour - significantly more money than people for therapy . . .
from an hour to hour basis

how many forensic cases have you had?
how many you were hired by prosecutor?
yes
for '06 cases
criminal?
2 by prosecutor - 1 by defense Atty, one by court . . . civil case

last 2 civil I have one criminal defense . .
worked for Bayliss - forensic work
hired by prosecutor?
also by defense
50/50 ???

more so often for the court . . . . 50/50 by the court
not by the court . .. prosecutors vs. defense

I would say more prosecution not 50/50 - not something I would keep track of.

Is Jodi wearing eye makeup?

I thought she did not have access to any makeup.

I'm just stunned that JW is really going here. This is not going to help Jodi, it just makes her look beyond petty!
