I don't think the full interview is up but search YouTube for " Jodi arias mom"

There's 1 in 8 parts and one in full (it's 2 hours long). Each of the 8 are 30 minutes and some change. Video 5 was the most telling so far for me. Her time alone is haunting.

Lol, thanks Bravo....I didn't hear it either. It sounded like someone went psssstt. OMG lol, why do I care!?

Awww your welcome.LMAO I hear ya. I guess I was either looking for some cheap late night entertainment or wanting to view anything that would remind me Jodi really is human :floorlaugh:

A side note on Walker. Googling her, I've come across stories of how she testified for the defense in the OJ trial. She testified he did not show "escalating life-threatening behavior typical of abusive relationships resulting in homicide." She also testified in the civil case for the defense, who wanted to show OJ heard Barbieri's phone message that day.

Edit: I just read now she actually never testified in the criminal case, though she did interview OJ for 60 hours. She did say before the case she was going to testify to the above.

Well I'm going to head off to bed. Let's hope tomorrow includes a WHOLE day of testimony and JW gives Dr D a break and STOPS asking those asinine questions! Sleep well guys!

Is little Pierce asleep and comfortable? Do they have a spare cot or recliner for you?

Yes, on both accounts bexlex. He did well for his first day of chemo.

Thanks so much for asking.

I'm just trying to understand WHY Wilmot said this. Was she trying to intimidate the witness somehow? She is unshakeable IMO. She didn't bite.

If she knew it was false, then yeah, it was probably an attempt to rattle her. But it seemed to me JW believed it.

This friend has been on NG twice. Both times, she has sounded very strange. She seems to have a difficult time getting her words out. Last night, Nancy had to finish a sentence for her. I find myself getting very aggravated listening to her.

I didn't catch her second Interview-last night. Strange. Clearly something......

She sounded either drunk or sedated heavily. But that's jmo. I instantly thought "xanax?" it was mush mouth (well, that's what I call it).

I'm sure she's getting paid for the pictures, so maybe some weird guilt about cashing in on her dear, sweet friend.

Oh gosh. My heart goes out to you and your family. Give your little one a hug from me.

This. Plus I noticed that the current criteria Walker recited did not match in several particulars the 6-point list put up in the NG video right after she listed them. I've missed all this week of the trial so far, though, so I don't know which criteria DeMarte used. The ones Walker spoke or the ones NG posted in the video. Anyone know which?

The six criteria from the 2009 edition appear to be:

Intrusive recollections of the trauma event(s)
Hyperarousal and high levels of anxiety
Avoidance behavior and emotional numbing (usually expressed as depression, dissociation, minimization, repression, and denial)
Disrupted interpersonal relationships from Batterer's power and control measures
Body image distortion and/or somatic or physical complaints
Sexual intimacy issues

Anyone care to find the list of criteria from the 1st edition?

My apologies for getting the # of videos wrong. There are 13 on youtube if anyone is looking.

Would love it if Lenore Walker emailed the judge with a little note :)

Better yet the prosecutor, kwim? :seeya:

(Willmott was was dreadful: mean, snarky, repetitive, uninformed, boring and condescending, but pulling that level of dishonesty was the pits. I wonder if she can be sanctioned for deliberately lying to a witness, just to throw her off.

JD seemed genuinely surprised but didn't get rattled. I thought she was great.)

She is NOT the poster child for BPD, she is the poster child for the cold murderer who killed the man she could no longer possess.

What's frustrating for me is that with the mainstream media in general and certainly with this case is that we only hear about mental illness and personality disorders, etc in the context of crime and "disturbed" or vicious people who have gone to extremes and done horrible things. One doesn't have to equal the other. Many people are able to thrive with these conditions and others struggle daily, sometimes for a lifetime but we never hear about those individuals.

The mental illness stigma is a huge problem and the courts are one of the main sources for this IMO.

:gthanks:

I just listened to Walker speak while reading your list and it was basically the same. For example, the first one was referenced as "re-experiencing" and only depression was referenced in connection with the third. This list is different than the one NG put up in the video. So I'm assuming DeMarte referenced the 2009 edition, not an earlier edition, yes?

eta: I didn't mean "your list" literally, I meant the list you posted. Thanks, btw!

That's what I'm sayin'. Why did she believe this when she didn't have confirmation? She must have been depending on ALV's word. That is all I can tell. That was a career-killer.

I've seen some of her hand drawn stuff, but have any of Jodi's 'professional' photos been shown?

No "professional photos" have been shown because there are NONE ... zip !

MOO !
