Dr. DeMarte's purpose is to be an expert witness for the state and she is doing an excellent job, even with the tomfoolery of the DT.

Jennifer in a move of desperation every moment this wonderful doctor is on the stand is the one trying to "throw a wrench in the fan" and she is failing. Miserably.
