Boy, JW is as slippery as JA was when she testified. The Dr is sticking to her precise language and JW is so frustrated with that! Makes me laugh.

I'm sure that looks pretty stupid if no one has seen the movie referenced.

I was thinking that yesterday about "That Girl" - that it would seem totally natural if she ruffled her own hair and threw up her arms with a big smile!
Of course it seemed completely inappropriate given she's counsel in a capital murder trial - I dont' think I'd be smiling so much.

Just watching again on HLN, and did I hear JW utter, "yeah", after Dr. D said she would not want to mislead anyone? I heard the "yeah" as a sarcastic utterance? Anyone else hear this!

Went out after the 10 minute recess so catching up on HLN. It's cute how Jodi perked right up when she thought Willmott scored a point with Dr. D saying the word "pattern". Nurmi needs to tone down his reactions to their preceived "gotcha" moments.

It's pretty crystal clear their excitement when they believe they have made a point to the jurors. It comes off very childish like they've just pulled the wools over the jurors eyes and manipulated the truth. It's offensive anytime they gloat in moments they demonize a murder victim.

Yes. One really bizarre moment today was JW confrontational reaction to DrD citing, as one indication that Jodi wasn't in a fog, that the camera had "gone through a cycle" in the washer. JW seemed to be in essence calling DrD a liar, or at least suggesting she had info she shouldn't have had. What was up with that?

This whole exchange went over my head..didn't get what the point JW was trying to make!!!

JW acting tough with the witness isn't a problem. JM is as tough as one can get. The problem is that JW is not the side of truth so that's already something that is to her disadvantage. Also, she is not skilled in cross-examining witnesses. When she tries to get all tough Demarte somehow manages to make JW look incompetent and ignorant. JW doesn't know when and how to pick her battles so she loses each and everyone of them.

And JW comes off as snarky and bi-otchy. When she says " You would not want to mislead anyone, right?" it comes off bad for JW because up to now, JD has shown no signs of being dishonest or misleading.

When Juan makes accusations, he says it outright. " You are biased, are you not" That seems a lot less shady and sketchy. He shows the pencil filled bubbles on a crumpled piece of a legal pad, and then asks the witness DIRECTLY, " You were sloppy in your work, correct? " That makes Juan look more professional and less snarky, imo.
