While we were waiting in futility for JA's migraine medication to not kick in, I noticed a sketch artist in the courtroom behind me yesterday. I'd not seen her before. It was kind of odd seeing there are cameras in the courtroom. Thoughts?

I think too that Jodi manipulates a perpetual victimhood. In reality, we don't know what she said to Travis but many of his friends and family have talked about how generous, trusting, and just a really nice, big-hearted guy he could be. I can see Jodi recounting how everyone before him had hurt, wronged, and/or abused her and manipulating Travis' best intentions to help her out somehow.

I also think TA knew deep inside that she was somehow 'defective' and he felt pity for her.

Well she drooled so much on her pretty pictures yesterday, they had to do something different today

Has JW scored any points today? Was gone for a while.

She got to play Dr. Willmott for about an hour. Other than that... She impeached Jodi, and her witnesses more IMO.

ex: She got the doc to admit deleting pictures can be done in fight or flight if its (lower functioning? maybe?) and knew how to use Travis' camera.

But Jodi testified she had never touched or seen Travis' camera until that day, and didn't know how to delete pictures.

She got her to say "pattern" of unhealthy communication on Travis part, even though she was trying to clarify which was explained properly on Juans re-direct. Meaning, he was nasty when Jodi invaded his privacy.....

It feels to me like Juan is rushing on this redirect. I hope he doesn't gloss over things that need clearing up.

I just want to take my above post back! I realize now what Juan's strategy might be - he probably senses the jurors are already buying Dr. DeMarte's expertise and that they are ready to move on. He is trusting that if they want clarification on anything, it will come out through their questions. If so, then I am hoping there is a trust that is building and will continue to build throughout the rebuttal between prosecution and the jury. Then closing arguments will seal it!

WAT has commented about her a couple of times IIRC. I am not sure what could be odd about it because I am too new here but if there's virtual media, then why not the old style too?
