No way the experts cancelled each other out. This one demolished the two for the defense!

Thing about Jodi and BPD is it's not that big of a deal, when it comes down to the driving force that caused her kill Travis. Lots of people suffer with BPD and do just fine in life; they are well adjusted and productive members of society - BPD doesn't mean someone is nuts at all. I think Jodi is truly nuts though, which has nothing to do with her BPD.

IMO

Respectfully, I must disagree about BPD not being a big deal. As I stated many posts ago, my mom is BPD. What I didn't disclose is this disease runs rampant in my family.

My granddaughter was diagnosed with BPD last Feb, and spent months in a rehabilitative center. Luckily the center was one of the few that practiced dialectical therapy. Her therapy made a huge difference.

My mom was extremely verbally abusive, hateful, evil, for decades before she was diagnosed and treated. Our relationship was basically ruined.

It is NOT nothing or not a big deal. It is devastating, and let me say, I feared for my daughter's and her family's safety before my granddaughter got help.

WAT has commented about her a couple of times IIRC. I am not sure what could be odd about it because I am too new here but if there's virtual media, then why not the old style too?

I'm not complaining, just not seeing the need. I haven't seen any sketches except this from the New Times cover:

I saw it too - was watching them and grabbed a shot of it, but I think it was jodi's golf pencil getting caught in her hair.

it looks like Jodi wants to lean in to kiss JW-

I thought I was hallucinating!! YES she was!!! eeeeewwwwwwwwww

I went back and re-watched that portion. I believe that was Jodi's own hand.

I don't think JW was stroking her hair....that looks like JA's big ole hand to me

On this break will just share a recovered memory I had from yesterday. While we were waiting in futility for JA's migraine medication to not kick in, I noticed a sketch artist in the courtroom behind me yesterday. I'd not seen her before. It was kind of odd seeing there are cameras in the courtroom. Thoughts?

I wonder why we haven't seen any sketches out in the media? Maybe some one is going to create a trial sketch book and make some $$$$?

Eeewwww! Was JW stroking JA's HAIR????????

JW would be smart if she reminded herself that JA is known to kill her lovers.
And Jodi maybe taking steps to switch sides like with Donavon.

Being that cameras are permitted, I think it's odd too. One thing I can think of is that the sketch artist may want to profit from his/her artwork since it's a high-profile case.

In that picture it looks as though JA is crossing yet another boundary, this time with her attorney. The look on her face is more than a client speaking to attorney look IYKWIM.

I just got in and missed all of JM's rebuttal of JW's cross. :banghead:

Yes and I'm sure that will be apparent in the jury questions. :twocents:

I saw that and my first thought was "OMGosh, not another attorney "mommie-ing" her client!" One trial of this was more than I could handle.

If everything that happens in the courtroom happens on purpose you can bet they are bucking for some kind of subversive angle here. Too much, man.

Ring stolen and Christmas tree stalking. Nice job Juan

I thought I heard that. Did Jodi steal TA's ring? Was it the PPL ring? Did she confess or did LE find it? Thanks

Someone posted about it here yesterday. Said the sketches are really really good. Said the artist had done sketches in other trials and is very talented. No idea why they're there other than trial fascination?

I'd guess they have been commissioned by someone who has a great interest in this trial and wants 'old school' mementos/

It didn't come across as complaining :)

Can the jury ask Dr. DeMarte something like "What personality disorder does Miss Arias show when she is writing or drawing so much and not looking at you for the majority of the time while you testify?"
