My interpretation of the tiger/bear question was that it was slightly "hostile" to Dr.D in the sense that it seemed rhetorical (i.e., "Trauma is trauma, why are you saying that it isn't?"). But I've said from the beginning that these juror questions are useless for reading the jury because 1) The questions are submitted only by some subset of jurors who self-select, and we have no way of knowing what percentage of jurors are represented in the questions and 2) The questions are further screened by the officers of the court. both factors contribute to a process that shapes the questions, both as a body and individually, in ways that preclude them from telling us anything meaningful about where "the jury" as a body is at. JMO

I don't know if I remember her explanation correctly, by my understanding of it is that: If you report having nightmares about tigers, tigers attacking you intrude into your thoughts, you are avoiding the tigers at the zoo, etc. yet the trauma you reported was that you were attacked by a bear, that would be problematic and invalidate the test. There is no reason for you to be obsessing about tigers like that when it's a bear that attacked you.

This is a much more nuanced interpretation of the question and I like it much better than mine.

I just cannot stop saying how good I feel about how Dr. DeMarte's testimony went.

As I have mentioned, I work in a law office (legal asst). My co-worker (paralegal) and I spent the last two days just extolling the Dr.'s virtues to one another. THIS is what an expert testifying is supposed to look/act like. She was professional, she came prepared, she did not rattle, kept composure, continued to be polite in the face of some very obvious snark and condescension. Just STELLAR!

In a couple of short days she completely IMO negated all the junk it took weeks for Dr. S and ALV to muddy the waters with.

So excited to end a week of trial like this.

When that question was asked, it sounded to me as if they were implying she was comparing apples to oranges and I didn't like that. lol

And now I'm back to my original worry ... I thought the same thing. I am thinking this is one issue on which that particular juror and Juanderful/Dr. D are not seeing eye to eye.

It is trauma but not PTSD. Most adults know the difference between a tiger and a bear. So if you consciously make the decision to lie about the tiger attacking when it should be the bear, the test is invalid. Just like JA and premediation. The only trauma she suffered was not expecting TA to fight like he did and all the blood. She doesn't not suffer from PTSD beause you need a soul. She has none.

There is a pro Jodi juror. I know it. And to be honest, he/she doesn't sound very bright. They ask silly questions that validate their non sense opinions (Jodi killed Travis because she saw no way out even though she lived 1000 miles away and could have chosen not to see him) and ignore logic. Maybe once Juan is done it will be even clearer that this was premeditated. Hopefully this juror is quickly swayed by the much more intelligent jurors or even better they are left out. And hopefully a really bright and strong willed juror does make it. Ugh, I hate this jury lottery system. But I'm scared now.

Has anyone been arrested? Does anyone think it's related directly to this case? Like maybe a Jodi supported stole it or is my line of thinking - out of line?

I am not big on conspiracy theories. But the timing of the theft, and after reading some of JA support fan pages and the, shall we put it kindly, delusion that seems to exist within some of those posters, I think it is not outside the realm of possibility.

Unlikely, but possible.

What about us folks that cannot watch shows about the trial after working hours because family members get mad. Gotta keep the peace.

I happen to not have that problem myself, but my girlfriend does. Just wait until later this evening when they come out on u-tube, take the laptop in the bathroom, turn on the shower, but sit on the stool. The noise of the water will cover the sound of your laptop, and you can always jump in the shower for a quick one when you're done listening.
Shoulder shrug - she says men buy that!! lol
