While we wait: Following Dr. DeMarte's testimony, does anyone think that Jodi's mother/family were relieved to finally have an explanation for their daughter's erratic behaviors? I couldn't help thinking that they probably always wondered what was wrong with Jodi and that they know now how disturbed she really is. :moo:

I believe it can be validation that you're not crazy, deluded, or living in an alternate reality. Validation can lead to a lot of healing and understanding.

I just wish they'd been given a more complete explanation, namely about the possibility of her being comorbid, and her potential risk for future violence. (Okay, I think I probably want that more for me - I don't think they'd cope well with psychopathy, I'm not sure many parents would.)

And again, I have not found any info to support the assertion that the FBI uses graphology in their investigations.

In my forensic classes/labs we studied graphology and even my professors who were heads of their CSI departments called it junk science.

It is equivalent to a woman sitting there with a crystal ball.

If I were a juror, I would buy premeditation before I bought crime of passion.

I guess, from the DT's perspective it could be construed as crime of passion depending how it's delivered.

I hope they bring it in and the DT messes up once again, then Juan can bring on the walmart/gas receipts and close it up. :rocker:

Cause for a crime of passion to fit, you can't believe any of that.

One cannot drive 1000+ miles for it to be crime of passion. Crime of passion, as far as I know, is an "immediate reaction to an action" type thing.

Maybe a lawyer can explain it better for us?
