I love Juan, but are we going to go through all 30 registers??? I guess it's necessary...

LOL, Oh come on... You know Walmart may have 30 registers... but only open like 10.

If she did not have a receipt they would issue a store credit, so either way there would be a record of it.

I would also venture to say that walmart also gets some type of tax credit or something where it is in their best interest to keep track of returns like a hawk... Also, have you'all seen the walmart data centers? nuff said.

This does not explain why I always sees many peoples standing in the return lines.

Jodi back to writing - doesn't want to hear this testimony. She lied and got caught!

:rocker: Right on ... just like she "colored" and continued writing her Manifesto when Dr. DeM was testifying because she lied to her ...

She cannot look at the witness on the stand ... a liar just can't do it !

:moo:

This is clearly not my Walmart, because there is always a line at the returns area.

I am curious how Nurmi is going to go about refuting this information.

The only thing he can possibly do is try to show that there is room for error. He is going to fail, though.

Oh, this is hilarious. Every single one of jodi's borderline personality disordered lies dismantled before her face. Love it!!!

How has it been going this morning? Did Dr. DeMarte end strong?

Dr. DeMarte ended very strong with only 20 questions from the Jury. She also schooled JW who tried to put words in Dr. D's mouth.

But there has been some fallout from Dr. D saying that JA had BPD.

Defense making a motion for a sur rebutal and a new witness based on BPD and also asking for lesser charges in jury instructions.

IIRC, there are 2 Walmarts in Salinas, wonder if we are going to hear the return was done at a different store? They've known this was coming for a while now, so surely have a mitigation plan?

Jodi testified she returned it to the store she bought it from

Jodi kept saying OVER AND OVER again that she returned the gas can. She sat there and lied for days!

Yes! She didn't say yes I had 3 gas cans, so what? That would have made it a little less suspicious. But to LIE and lie and lie. Red flags all around!

Is Willmot a secretary? she keeps writing and writing.

I love Walmart for the first time in my life

Jodi doesn't bother to look up at the Wal-Mart employee - she feels her I.Q. is higher.

I think she was finished last week. A friend of Travis testified.

And you do NOT question Jodi's lies. She hates that.

  • #1,075
I think that the DT may have insisted that he go through them all.

I dunno. I think Juan's being careful and showing the jury that there is no proof whatsoever from any register that she returned the gas can.

Yup, and her glasses are off again, doesn't want any part of this.

Think JA looked at this young man, a friend of TA's, and for a moment JA realized that other people from the PPL group are out living their lives, the never liked her, the don't like her now and they are willing and able to speak up in a court of law to have her convicted for the murder of their friend Travis.

Briefly, JA realized her future.

Yes, that could be it.

The tears didn't look scripted or fake to me. I think they were real, but I couldn't guess what they were for--for herself, or for him, or for that time.

That's what I can't figure out. Shes never seen the video and she looked actually upset by it. It seemed like some disturbing reminder to her obsession with him and what "could have been", maybe? Flood of emotion when the facade of the Travis she created in her mind to kill him is shattered when viewing it? Who knows.

Why do you guys keep bringing up "human error"?
Juan is proving pretty nicely how the computer atthe registers keeps great record of returned purchases.
