How much longer do you guys think this trial will last? Will Juan be able to wrap up this week? I know he may call two co-workers of T to testify he was affectionate and a Wal-Mart employee. Seems like that could go pretty fast.

ITA And that's what worries me! I absolutely believe it was premeditated first degree murder, but giving the jury this option may tempt those on the fence to go with the lesser charge.

Anyone know what the penalty is for this new suggested charge?

I believe the penalty for the new charges were 7minimun 21 maximum. Which would be determined by the judge.
I can't say enough how much I hope this motion to add these to jury instructions is denied. If the family wanted her convicted of a lesser charge they would have accepted the plea deal.

Me either! This whole ordeal has already taken two years off of my life, not to mention the CA trial! I had to take time off of Websleuths after that because it was too painful...I can't imagine what would happen this time!
