I am gonna be watching closely at Jodi's facial expression when Deanna walks up the aisle to get sworn in.

Me too! I bet she darn near blows a gasket or at the least give a good eye roll. In her twisted mind she thinks she holds some kind of last rights on Travis or something...UGH.

We're close to starting. I heard some sound for a second.

Juan just came out, a young male with light blue shirt and curly hair was with him and is seated behind him. #JodiArias

It sounds similar to what an Activities director would say on a cruise ship. Giving us the play by play. :floorlaugh:

Well at least we moved off of salmon to water.

The Judge is dealing with matters related to this case but my concern is for the jurors. Why not respect their time? And the Judge must see that this 'in chambers' meeting has become part of the daily routine. So why not do something about it? At the very least allow the jurors to get to court at 10 a.m.

And the "in chambers" business can be handled anytime....it doesn't have to be solely during the scheduled court time. If she wanted to have them stay during lunch, on the weekends, at 6pm every day, she could. The Judge runs the courtroom (See e.g. Judge Perry Blevin).

Attorney's are out...should start now

My point is the JURORS. They were told to be there at 9:30, so yet again, the Jurors are there PROMPTLY like there were told, only to be sitting and waiting like they have been every single day. The constant delays on the courts part for these poor Jurors is NOT good. We all know what happens when the Jury gets fatigued, which they have to be at that point. Seems like when the Jury gets frustrated or fatigued it is always taken out on the State. If this Jury is to be sequestered during deliberations, and if they were to find her guilty on Premed Murder, then they would have to be sequestered EVEN longer. They might just vote for the easiest option to get them out of there earlier due to all these constant delays. Look at the Anthony case, OJ...BOTH sequestered and BOTH Not Guilty. The easiest way for the Jury to get outta there. Can't be good.

I've been a juror. Our jury was in and out like a pop-tart. They are fine. They are told to be there by 9:30 and IMI arrive at that time. So they are fine, reading books, talking with other jurors about personal issues, etc. Every delay to them means she might want to change her plea and we can go home. It's the way things are.

ALV said Travis was never in a long-term relationship. I can't type what I think about her as I'd get a time-out. I'll keep mum on this one.

Right there with ya Rose..better to stay mute than get a TO :)

Sometimes he's very cold to me in public....showing no affection, no emotion at all. It's almost like he's inhuman.

I've noticed he has a very 'flat' affect.

Judge looks kind of flushed

  • #559
