I was not able to watch yesterday and am trying to catch up. I see there was one jury question for TA ex-girl friend. Does anyone know what that question was? I cannot find it any where.

Just watching yesterday's testimony.

Jacob was great!

Walmart lady says SKU is skew!?!? She investigates fraud, theft for 5 years and doesn't know this is stock keeping unit, or even the acronym SKU? Weird.
I don't care if she couldn't spell Walmart ... she was effective in bringing out the point that NO ONE returned a 5-gallon kerosene can either on 6/3/08 or in the week following. Lies to cover premeditation = 1st degree conviction.

In another post I proposed she may have meant to say PRONOUNCED instead of SPELLED. (Nerves?) I'm sure I'd be a blithering idiot on a witness stand.

That is a good point, Dani. You are probably right.

I was afraid Nurmi was going to jump all over this, but glad he didn't.

What's the point of an exchange program that lasts a couple weeks? Seems odd to me. Exchange programs for a year, yes. For a semester, okay. But 2 weeks. Puh-leeze. What's the point??????

I am trying to think of the name of the company..it sets up vacations for high school students and teachers, makes them sound like an exchange program. We have done both..both are expensive. More so to study abroad..we have also hosted students which also costs, but was great for the kids. We all learned a LOT!

Since Nurmi didn't have a single question for her, I'd say she did great.

Does anyone know the date or around the time Travis went to his Bishop and confessed to being sexual with Jodi? Was this before or after the sex taped call?

I believe she told him her cell phone was hopelessly lost, and sadly, according to her, she was just trying something out, and she recorded the sex call, she planned to delete it, and now....geee gad, it is out there, floating around and could come into anyone's hands.
Of course he would not have believed that. If I recall correctly some of his friends said that the week before his murder he started to get REALLY freaked out about some stuff Jodi was pulling, that even for her....was way out there. I believe it was Taylor that he read , what I call his "go f yourself and the horse you rode in on" message to Jodi, he read it to Taylor to show how explicit he was being telling her it is OVER, FOREVER. The friend asked him, OMG, buddy, aren't you afraid she is going to hurt you after getting something like that? He mentioned that Travis had already went to the Bishop about him and Jodi, so there was nothing she could do to him in that way, but his friend was literally afraid for Travis' LIFE. I am just surmising that it was after the sex tape.

She got the Helio phone, that records, from Gus, who seemed to have a real disdain for Travis and Chris Hughes. Gus said that he told Jodi straight up that Travis was using her for sex, and dating his good Mormon girls, looking for a wife, she was just being used. I think between Gus and Jodi the plan to record him, not being so Mormon was hatched.

Travis was blogging about how he had decided the time to come to grow up, look for a wife and begin his family. No where in that mindset would he be wanting someone he is just having sex with, that he is trying to get away from for the most part having something in another state.....that he would have no control over ....to record.

I know the rule is , if you are going to declare something ...provide the link, so let me say this is just what I remember Taylor saying, but I could be wrong. Let me try to find the link.

The question related to the Law of Chastity - specifically if through teachings she understood what it included - paraphrasing she responded ALL forms of sexual contact/acts before maraige were prohibited. She also explained that at church functions and classes that this is made very clear - no misunderstanding what chastity is. To that effect in a simple review.

Softail has it covered for you in #1393 above - thank you Softail.

It was: is the law of chastity widely known in your church or is it kept secret?
Is it a topic of discussion on church days and if so, to what degree?

Skew: Mathematics. Neither parallel nor intersecting. Used of straight lines in space.

So the straight up and down lines would be skew or bar code. She was not 100% incorrect. I suppose the SKU is the actual number. The straight lines would be skew or what we call bar codes that they scan off the item at the register.

Something else has been bugging me. I watched JA's mother's interview with Det Flores again. She said that JA was always telling her that she should read more books and 'better' herself (not said in a loving way, I am sure) That was so condesending and mean.

Can you imagine just what those poor parents went through trying to raise JA with her attitudes and behaviours. I was upset by mom's behaviour in court but I really feel such sympathy for the parents. JA bullied them and probably made that household miserable..

Hello all!

I am still so grateful to Deanna for being there for Travis and defending him. She is a beautiful person and it's easy to see how ugly JA is in comparison.

No amount of makeup can compare with the beautiful glow of kindness and goodness. The world's best manicure services cannot conceal the ugliness of hands that are used to do evil. Hands (whether 10 or 90 years old) that used to do good are things of beauty.

JA has yet to learn that she is a hideous creature. What is bubbling on the inside will eventually come to the surface. And what goes up must come down...

In my 60 years I have found that the smartest folks that I know are often horrible spellers.:silly:

Where on earth did she get that information?
The defense experts are the gifts that keep on giving. As frustrating as it was to sit through their overly biased testimony based on the lies of Jodi, it enabled JM to get in facts that might otherwise have been excluded and expose RS, ALV and the defendant in a major way.
