I can't wait for more crazy Jodi faces

Using something that will hold up from dragging is what she did.I say a sheet?Blanket? Probably silk/satin? which slides like butter all over the place.
She probably put him on something like that?
Must have taken all her killing tools and ditched them someplace?

It would be so nice if someone found those killing tools..as I don't think burning would have destroyed them as she must have burned some stuff since the car smelled of smoke and she did have gasoline. But I fear they are in some water somewhere..

I noticed too how intently she was listening to this line of questioning!! It was so strange - that's when I knew something is up with that 4 pm computer access...you are totally right. Or maybe she thought they had figured out that they weren't really looking at the picture CD's which was her story. It's obvious she lied about something regarding that computer access.

I think you're absolutely right. When JM got up to do his brief re-direct of the witness, and asked him if he could tell who accessed the computer TA or JA she distinctly shook her head "no". Something bothered her about that questioning.

I think the computer guy said there wree 90+ pics, so she didn't have time to do that.

But there is an option to 'delete all' so it's not like she would have had to do them one by one. 'Delete all' would have been quicker than selecting a few pictures to delete and doing them separately.

Or eXpecially. Last time I checked, there was no X.
LMAO! Much smarter people than Jodi fall back into (mis) pronouncing some words as they heard them growing up (birFday, anyone?). Regionalisms come into play as well. "Real-A-tor" bugs the heck out of me--especially when it comes out of the mouth of a real estate agent! Only one "a" in realtor.

BTW I heard some conversation on here re a rebuttal witness from Chase bank. Just noticed that the $200 check from Jodi to Travis was from Washington Mutual, which went under and is now Chase. Interestingly the check just under Jodi's also appears to be a WaMu check based on the matching routing numbers....

I keep wondering why she didn't just take the SD card with her. She wouldn't have had to spend ANY time deleting anything. It would be beyond easy to get rid of it, too.

Thank God she didnt. In my opinion that evidence is the most damning (well, that and the gas cans)

But I agree, it's odd she didnt just take the camera or sd card with her. Nice move, Einstein!

I do not have one...
but killers seem to like to note everything?
My boring journal would say:
I'm on Websleuth's again and watching a live stream of the JA trial.

I tried to keep a journal on the computer. I found myself constantly deleting stuff so it wouldn't fall into "enemy" hands :floorlaugh: On the days I really need to vent about the people I live with, I type it all out and then delete it. That way I've vented out all my poison, but it won't hurt anyone. God help me if a forensic computer person ever looks at my computer. Between the searches I do for this case, and the Boston bombing and then my family stuff...they'd think I was either crazy or really dangerous! :jail:

That has always struck me as one of the "strangest" parts of her story: the office sex. (Not that all of it isn't nutty.) I mean, she went into great detail about him throwing a scratched CD and it bouncing off her head.

Then, I realized, her fingerprints were probably all over the place in there around the computer BECAUSE SHE'D BEEN SNOOPING. There's no way should could have stayed away from his laptop for 18 hours! She had to have a reason for THAT physical evidence, too.

I'm very interested in hearing from the other computer expert... :please:

I'm old...and I use cursive for everything, even grocery lists. It's how we were taught to write. And I'm old enough to remember what writing a check is like! :floorlaugh: They don't teach cursive in a lot of schools now, which is a shame. So I see adults who print, which in my day was not something adults did. My how the times have changed. :scared:

Does 54 qualify as old? If so, me too! Let's hear it for the Palmer method! Hip, hip...hooray!

I was taught cursive in school, of course, but never liked it. I have always preferred printing. It didn't stop me from becoming a successful adult, and it hasn't hindered my academic career. Many of my colleagues also print exclusively. I suppose it's simply a matter of preference rather than a mark of maturity.

One five gallon gas can full of gas would weigh thirty one pounds and she was able to pick up and remove (unless she filled them in the trunk) them. I don't think she saved much in gas with ninety three pounds in the trunk. That's a lot of weight to carry in the trunk.

She claims that she had water and other stuff in the trunk as well. Certainly not far fetched to think that she may have been planning on taking Travis's corpse with her to burn in the desert on the way home to CA. I mean, no one needs that much extra gas in the trunk.

I still find it an odd dig that she left that voicemail inviting Travis to see Othello, considering the themes are jealousy, love, and betrayal, also racism. Aren't there theories that Jodi made herself look more Aryan/ Caucasian with the blonde hair and valley girl baby voice? Of all the Shakesperian plays, it seems ironic that she picked that one as the alibi voice mail.

I am going around and around with this entire June 4th scene but especially, her get-away.
The fact that she called Matt hours after killing Travis, never sat well with me. I mean, why?

A WS member brought up yesterday their confusion as to why Arias filled up 3 times (with 3 different gas cans? ) after she killed Travis. S/he asked, what was the purpose.

I immediately thought that Arias might've been covering her bases for when the day came and she would be asked about those 'borrowed' gas cans. I figured Arias was going through the motions of filling up before and after just to show there was no stealthy reason other than to have extra protection in case she got lost and didn't want to run out of gas.

I kinda felt that was way too much planning, reasoning and considering even for Stabby-Einstein so I started to consider this: Could Matt have met her in Utah and be the recipient of this extra gas purchase (if not, the 3rd can)?
I question this because of THIS accidental (?) statement Arias made:

"Matt hadn't answered his phone until he was there"

Jodi Arias Trial - What The Hades Does This Mean - YouTube

"There"....where?

It doesn't really matter because Arias will be charged with 1st degree murder. There is no way this jury isn't seeing what we're seeing. In fact, her defense team is doing more harm than good which I have to believe is--- 'karma' doing its thing!!

I don't think you should read too much into the "there" b/c I think she was just acting basically, trying to remember lines she had rehearsed in her head for 3+ years. So IMO that's why sometimes she said things that didn't make any sense. It's like like say an actor who can't remember some of his lines. That's my take on it.
As far as the gas cans, IMO after she got done with the killing and got out of Arizona, she went back into Jodi-mode. So the Jodi who was actually almost broke and had prob spent most of her savings on her killing road trip...what with the rental car, gas, etc. - this Jodi started thinking back to reality which was she wouldn't have a lot of money when she got home. So the gas in Utah probably WAS cheaper than the gas in California, she filled up what she had - which was THREE GAS CANS. Prob. figured she would just throw them away anyway, so who would know? Maybe she didn't have any cash at that point to pay cash for the third one, so she thought what the heck this is in Utah no one will check they don't even knwo I was in Arizona, so she went ahead and filled up all of them.

I consider Jodi to be above average with exceptional verbal skills as indicated on the WAIS that was administered by Dr. DeMarte. If her school/s offered special programming for gifted/talented students, Jodi might have qualified based on her outstanding verbal ability and possibly her creativity as indicated in her art work.

I taught high school English and easily recognized that Jodi has a large vocabulary and likes to express herself verbally and in her prolific writings. She wouldn't have liked me as her teacher because I find her rambling writings to be hyperbolic and just plain verbose. If she had an English teacher who attempted to guide her talent - I would have definitely suggested a much more economical use of words - Jodi probably thought that she knew better and didn't need anyone's assistance. :moo:

love high school english teachers. mine red penciled me to death. lol
ja tries to impress people with her vocabulary uses wrong words all over the place, and she lie, lie, lies. every time she opens her mouth snakes crawl out. jmo

Easy trick...... just do a Bing search for "what time is it in _______" It will tell you. I had to do this with this trial because I was sure I was wrong on the time. Turned out that the judge just never starts when she says she's going to.
I'm a savant when it comes to time zones, but I'll keep it in mind in case a fog sets in. ;)

If "cork the pot" was in a TA email to Jodi, it may have been his inexperienced sex-talky version of taking a virgin's "cherry" - as in "popping the cork" on an unopened bottle of champagne. The old-fashioned ALV may have misremembered popping the cork as corking the pot. Just guessing tho.

Oh, thanks for the reminder, Deb. I couldn't remember where that ever came from in the first place.

That makes total sense -- that ALV would not know what that meant probably.
