O/T, yesterday there was a poster who said that her 20 year old granddaughter was missing. I think her name was "Arisha" or something like that. Was there any follow-up from this poster? I can't get this out of my mind.

:please:

Arishia's granddaughter was in contact with her family so she's okay. She posted on an earlier thread.

Most of the delays in this trial are due to the judge, her schedule, the court schedule, the fact that court days are relatively short, and that a court week in AZ is also short. While JA with her 2 migraine incidents and ALV's afternoon delay took their toll, it is up to the judge to keep things moving and moving at a faster pace. Starting a trial at 10:30am as a standard time, taking a 90 min lunch and then quitting at 4:30pm, and holding hearings when the jury is just sitting around is wasteful and that's due to the judge. She could order that all hearings take place after 4:30pm or before 9am. There is discretion. I blame the judge.

Maybe it's the norm to plod along like this in Arizona courts. I have never seen anything like it...part time 1st degree murder death penalty trial with multiple hiatuses...go figure.

I think the idea of confession is that you realize you have done something wrong in the eyes of the church and you are willing to change your behavior. It's not a punishment so going to priest or bishop is meant to help you. That is my understanding. Only you can judge yourself and come to terms with whatever you are dealing with. It is obvious Travis was trying to deal with Jodi and she continued to push those boundaries. He was willing to let her go, she was not going to let him go without a fight.

Thank you... this is what my mind was saying :)

Yes!!! She reported last night that all was well, and thanked us for prayer.

so the hearing is closed/no longer happening??

Yes. And uber lightened hair has very little pigmentation left and is very porous.

So, while the color put over bleached hair will initially "grab" even more than "virgin" hair, the porosity also enables the color to wash out more rapidly, even with a permanent color.

And Jodi may have even used a semi- or demi- permanent color on her hair (which would be less damaging, but also more prone to fading).

Like I said earlier, the rental guy didn't say her hair was platinum blonde, he said blonde. If the color she put in even a week or two prior had begun to fade out, she could have been more of a light golden brown/blonde shade, and with her coloring, it wouldn't be hard to imagine someone noting her as a "blonde Latina girl".

Again, just saying it's possible. She could then have reapplied color prior to arriving in Mesa, but again, it could just be the lighting making it look darker. I think her mugshots show it as a light red/gold brown, IMHO.

Yep I agree completely with this and I've said the same thing. Would only like to add that Jodi's mugshot pic shows her new growth line. IMO as a hairstylist that amount of new growth is consistent with early June as last coloring. Hair typically grows 1/2inch a month give or take a little.

I am confused...does that mean the hearing is not happening??
I think it just means not happening in the open. It's a closed door hearing. AGAIN

:seeya: Getting in late but I see I missed nothing. Again.

How annoying.

One of the other things he lied about was anal sex. DB's answer to Juan when he asked if he and JA had had anal, was, "Maybe once". OK - maybe means maybe we had it once, and maybe we never had it.
Are you seriously telling me DB does not know whether or not he had anal AT ALL??
The entire anal testimony was a lie.

I think he lied about many, many things, and the rest, he simply didn't testify to.
Totally agree with this. It doesn't make sense. My impression is that most men would be more than happy to go that way if the woman was up for it. Most women, it seems, are not really into that. We know Jodi was into anal, so the odds that DB was like," uh, ya, no thanks," seems pretty remote. Just my opinion, based on almost nothing.

Why does HLN keep saying Jodi had 3 five gallon gas cans? Didn't she have 2 ten gallon and 1 five gallon?

Didn't anyone ever tell Jodi, "No one is gonna buy the friggin ice cream truck when you keep handing out the Popsicles for free."

You'd think someone as smart as Einstein would know this. :notgood:

I've asked this before. Some of JA's hair was stuck with blood to Travis' wall. Can a lab determine when that hair was dyed? How much outgrowth, ect?

IIRC it was 3 5-gallon cans.
