yes, that may be true, but JA doesnt look like she needed 2 jars of acne wipes..we all know she used those to wipe the brown hair dye off of her face and forehead while she was waiting for the dye to take in some bathroom somewhere between LA and Mesa.

So she showed up at Travis' wearing her dark hair in schoolgirl braids.

For those who might not have seen this last week. A tribute to Prosecutor Juan Martinez - HE's the ONE!

A Chorus Line - One ( Finale) - YouTube

(Juan) singular sensation, every little step (he) takes
(Juan) thrilling combination, every move that (he) makes
(Juan) smile and suddenly nobody else will do
You know you'll never be lonely with you know who.

(Juan) moment in (his) presence, and you can forget the rest
For the (guy) is second best to none, son
Oooh! Sigh! Give (him) your attention
Do I really have to mention (he's) the (Juan).

(He) walks into a room and you know (he's)
uncommonly rare, very unique,
peritpatetic, poetic, and chic
(He) walks into a room and you know from (his)
maddening poise, effortless whirl
(He's) a special guy, strolling

Can't help all of (his) qualities extolling
Loaded with charisma
Jauntily, sauntering, ambling, shambler
(Juan) and you know you must
Shuffle along, join the parade
(He's) the quintessential of making the grade
This is whatcha call trav'ling.

Oh, strut your stuff!
Can't get enough!
Ooh! Sigh. Give (him) your attention
Do I really have to mention
He's the (Juan)!

:juanettes::juanettes::juanettes::juanettes:

Thought I'd share this photo with my WS pals... This is from a production of 'A Chorus Line' that I did many years ago at the Alhambra Dinner Theatre in Jacksonville, FL... I'm the little one on the end. See, I was a Juanette even before I knew it!

<Picks up bowling pencil>
Writes note to self on sticky ... pastes it on forehead

I am gonna open up Microsoft Word so I can type all my hateful, banned for life from websleuths comments on there, and edit them prior to posting them in the forum. Whatever works.

I think her photos suck, she's hardly even an amateur photographer. However I do think she is somewhat talented and can draw/sketch pretty well. I don't like the style of her drawings though - reminds me of bad 80's art.

I know everyone's taste is different and I am not the art police, but as a professional artist I find her work to be an expression of her inner emptiness. It is devoid of feeling, connection, even the barest understanding of color theory. It is bland, flat, and lifeless. Sure, there is a measure of technical proficiency and a kind of "correctness" that seems a desperate attempt to appeal to a commercial interest.

I'm on the fence about purchasing the work, since those funds may be seen as benefitting JA, (or possibly alleviating a small amount of the financial burden on her family.) I can see why someone would want to own one of her pieces as a kind of "outsider art" or naive-style work. It is interesting to see pieces done by the mentally ill. I knew of a schizophrenic painter whose work is fascinating, (and VERY good.)

Am i the only one who tries to think of what I'd say to the jury if I was doing the closing statements.

Sigh. I need this trial to end, I'm going CRAZY...

Nope. When I was driving earlier, I was thinking about (because we are so close to it happening) Juan facing the jury with his closing arguments and wondering what points he will stress on and how animated he will be.

lol *embarrassed* lol

Jean is ridiculous. Even if that did happen there would still be some record of the return. They aren't just going to open the drawer and hand her cash. And either way the gas can would have to be scanned back into the system at some point.

Jean and that dummy sku juror gotta stop reaching. If there is no record of a return it's because she never returned it.

Happens occasionally at some stores for small amounts.
I've returned items @ Target and other places that were purchased on my charge card.
IF the purchase was less than $20.00 ... They ask if you want your refund back on your card or cash.
Only some stores and only for small value transactions.

Agree that there would be some type of record of the transaction whether it was cash or credit. No record = no return.

I've got one...a slow comfortable (bad word) up against a wall with a twist. Vodka, one tsp ice tea, 7-up, cranberry juice, lime, and whiskey.

I have a rule, no booze before supper. I might eat at 4pm today lol. My drink of choice---malibu rum, pineapple juice and a dash of 7-up OR an ice cold bud light lime.

Jean Casarus (sp?) just said on HNL that she has paid with credit cards for items - and gotten cash in return. Whaaat? That has never happened for me. They always say that you get the refund in the form you paid for it: Credit card gets credit card refund. Cash gets cash. Has anyone besides JC gotten cash for credit card charge??

I have received cash after returning things originally bought with credit card (not debit card) at WalMart (not recently, but I'd say within the past 5 yrs). I never understood why sometimes cash, sometimes credit card credit; but it has happened a few times. IIRC they would have been small purchases... like under $10. But I still had to initial the receipt and the transaction was recorded in their system.

I got the feeling that Nurmi didn't expect Deanna to admit to a sexual relationship with Travis.....then he asked ...was it just once? No....was it several times? yep!

Nurmi seemed to be thrown off for a few minutes.

Also was thrown off when she said that they were still together when she moved to AZ. I think he was trying to say that she, too, moved to be near TA after they broke up.

I have....not at Walmart --- they put it back on the card...

Yep, at Walmart. Couldn't find receipt, they gave me cash, they do that for items less than $25.00

Want I should save a beer and some pizza crusts for you? :floorlaugh:

Listen, keep the grizzly away this time. I like him and all, but his idea of "just a bite" is a little excessive. And I don't want to think about what he might have done with that beer.

Wondering why Deanna, on the stand yesterday, was not asked by Prosecution if she ever saw or knew about a gun in Travis's closet. Why wasn't she asked?

Also, although we all suspect it's a lie, Jodi testified that Travis had just recently bought it, so it would be out of DR's area of knowledge, since she presumably hadn't been in TA's bedroom in the last few months of his life. I think it would have been a pointless question.

I tend to disagree that it would be pointless to ask if Deanna ever knew about, had seen, or even heard that Travis had a gun in his closet. Deanna used to dog sit Napolean and stay in the bedroom when Travis went on trips. Asking her would support further testimony that Travis didn't own any gun. JMO

I find it appalling that JW & KN do not tell Jodi not to draw Travis's family!!
If she wants to draw her family & friends-fine,but Travis's family & friends should be off limits..just wow that she can get away with that!!

yes, that may be true, but JA doesnt look like she needed 2 jars of acne wipes..we all know she used those to wipe the brown hair dye off of her face and forehead while she was waiting for the dye to take in some bathroom somewhere between LA and Mesa.

When you get a brazillian wax they suggest to you to use those wipes to prevent ingrown hairs.

I am convinced she got waxed at the salon, just the way that Travis liked it.
