Now that manslaughter will be among the charges for the jury to consider, is anyone worried about the possibility of a conviction on one of the lesser charges - second degree or manslaughter? I'm not feeling quite as confident about 1st degree pre-meditated murder as I was earlier in the trial. :blushing:

Nope, not worried at all.
This was so premeditated in my opinion, that manslaughter can't be an option.

How do you know this? Has this been confirmed? Thank you.

Do I get a good seat today?? I've been stuck on the back wall the past couple days.

There aren't enough handicapped seats. Where do I complain?

Have you tried baking the bacon? 425 x 20-25 minutes. it comes out straight with no wrinkles, perfectly cooked. put foil on your pan and cleanup is beyond easy. It doesn't spit in the oven like it does in the pan. You can even put some brown sugar on it to make candied bacon, totally yummy.

Oh I must try this! I'm tired of the splatter, and the constant turning. Excellent idea. If I could pry myself away from the computer I'd try it now.

So who thinks yesterday's closed session was about the scheduling in part. How will we find out if the surrebuttal is granted? Just wait and see if it happens?
This judge sure likes to do things behind closed doors, and it's really only supposed to be for unique and spare situations. Me thinks this judge has lots and lots to learn about DP cases.
I'm glad she FINALLY found the balls to set some time limits. We all know with Nurmi, he could make closing arguments last for weeks.

IIRC some local reporters were tweeting yesterday the surrebuttal was granted as did USA Today and GMA this morning. Surrebuttal is Wednesday

i think i have to give my poor hubs a break after this trial. i feel like im testing his patience. and he has been such a good participant. if only this trial was on central standard time, so i could be done by the time he gets home from work.

Congratulations on everyone approaching a Wedding Anniversary. Today is our 38th and it doesn't feel like 38 either.

I see some of you are worried. Understandable. I'm sending all of you showers of Katiecoolady's optimism...

We the jury in the above entitled clause find the defendant Jodi Ann Arias to be guilty of murder in the first degree.

Can you feel it? :)

Is there any OTHER place to get gas?

:O

Nixa still has a true full service petrol station - with a coin soda machine and candy bar machine being the only other items sold there (No it is not at Nixa Hardware :D). Use to be one in Sparta but don't know if it remains. They even have fuel derived from American oil. Over here, there are some stations that have nothing but petrol and who knows where it comes from except it must be somewhere really expensive.

Just re watched yesterdays trial.

Jodi is so vain and into herself. It is the photos that are her downfall in this trial.

If you notice, most of the pictures of her and Travis, she looks directly at the camera. When the PPL guy was on the stand earlier this week, Jodi cried when she saw the photos. She only cries when she is in a photo or the consequences effect her life.

I only saw fake tears when she cried during the Travis murder photos. :furious:

IDK if Good Morning America has inside info, but they said this morning that the Defense is putting on another witness. :banghead:

During trout season in Oregon, the stores put out signs in front that say "We Have Worms". I always feel bad for them :floorlaugh:

:floorlaugh:

I truly find things like that incredibly amusing.

OMG! Are you guys watching HLN right now? LMAO! I am sure you all heard it last night, this whole Psycho reference and her reported pregnancy...and that's why there was SO MUCH activity last night, right?

I don't watch the trial coverage after watching all day. I mean, I saw it with my own eyes - what more could they tell me? Plus, they drive me nuts with their sensationalism.

So...what y'all think? Jodi was pregnant or not? Did she or did she not say they never had vaginal sex? If she said it, I never believed that...but I think I read that somewhere?

Watching JA yesterday while sitting alone, you can see her mind is racing like a rollercoaster. I think she is finally coming undone. When I watched her facial expressions and body language she changed minute to minute.. angry, depressed, defiant, nervous, fearful, fearless, gleeful, secure, insecure, uber fidgety, then stares like in a trance... it was exhausting to watch. She seems like she can barely hold it together when JW is not sitting right next to her. She is sliding down the tube fast and she has no control. She knows her court day furloughs from her cell are coming to an end and she will be hearing the slam of the metal bars for the last time very soon. No more play dates with JW.
