I missed much of yesterday, who was the woman with the muscular arms? I know she wasn't the ex or the walmart lady.

She was a witness for the gas station (Tursuro sp?) where Jodi pumped the gas. She works in the IT department and testified to the transactions that were made.

Between yesterday and the day before, what little of a case JA had, was completely unraveled.

When JM was questioning Flores about the shelves he asked him what happened when he pressed his hand on the shelf and "this is what happened" and was showing a photograph. But the cameras never showed this photo. Is this photo available anywhere online?

Depends on the verdict. If she gets anything less than LWOP I shall have to finally concede that the American justice system is completely bonkers! :floorlaugh:

If she gets what she deserves, I have decided to ease my withdrawal symptoms by reviewing all of her testimony, counting every lie that Juan caught. That should do me until the next one.

Draining the dog, love it, gotta remember that one. How long does your's stay drained? Mine inevitably interrupts at the worst possible moment...'course he's still a puppy (the other two are adults) and can't hold it as long. Happily, he was just snipped and can't play or take walks for the next two weeks...covering me for the verdict watch.

Mine immediately tanks up on water when he comes back in. He'll come to me at the desk two or three times. If I shoo him away, he'll go lie on the bed (on his heated throw). If he doesn't get out, he'll pee right by my chair! Max is a min pin, probably about a year now. Had his tonsils taken out (snipped) 3 months ago. Totally off topic but I'm bored and tired of checking the docket for new info :floorlaugh:

Good morning. Thinking ahead to the surrebuttal witness...would any reputable psychologist testify for this depraved defendant? So far they have only been able to get worthless testilies from Samuels and LaV-why would this new guy be any different?

I think he is being called to trash Dr. Demarte. He will conclude any/all of the following:

She is too inexperienced
She administered the wrong tests
She gave the tests improperly
Her interpretation of the testing was incorrect
Dr. Samuels rescoring was ok
Dr. Alyce's 44 hours with the defendant should be the determining factor, she knows Jodi!

There is no way I'm missing a moment during verdict watch. I want to watch the verdict being read out in real time. During the jury's working hours I will be by my computer all day. It would be a shame to have followed this trial all the way to the end only to miss the verdict being read out!

The only sad thing Rose, is that , I bet at verdict time it's going to be pretty hard to get on here.

Andrea's boss's trial (Hemy Neuman) was streamed by some local channels, so I am guessing it will go that way again. But I think Andrea might be an even bigger draw (audience wise) than the actual triggerman. I am local, so I stay on top of this stuff.

Brown says pictures are ALL from the same phone; he doesn't just say the three new ones, so was JM showing that the phone could not have been lost?

May 10: The 'sex tape' was made
May 15: Picture of Jodi with her dog Jewell is taken with same phone
May 17th-18th: Jodi says phone went missing, she worked hard to get that in
June 3rd: Pictures of Jodi taken with Dark hair

IIRC, much was made of the May 15th photo by the DT in an effort to discredit the Prosecution's contention that JA had significantly changed her appearance in anticipation of her stealth visit to Mesa. It goes to the premeditation issue and that photo was used by the DT to explain the car rental clerk claiming that JA was blonde when she rented the car. The DT's response was "No huh! Look! It's auburn! It's brown! It's just a little lighter brown in front (the blondish highlights.) What those pictures make clear is that JA undertook some serious efforts to disguise herself with the very dark, chestnut hair color and that she did so on June 3rd.

ETA: Any woman who has colored her hair can tell that's a fresh dye job. Especially for someone like JA who stripped all of the natural color from her hair to go so many shades lighter. If that dye job was more than a few days old you'd already see the color fading.

Sneiderman..conniving..the tears in the gallery..anger on the stand. Wow. And the moment she walked up to her friend who had come off the stand, hugged her and escorted her out and told her they were no longer friends..oh my gosh!

Wild About Trials will be covering it real time announced yesterday. It's in Atlanta. She manipulated a mentally ill man who thought she loved him, to kill her husband..to 'save' her and kids from abuse.

I am with you Rose....I remember listening to the OJ trial on my radio with headphones where ever I was---even shopping. I remember Anna Nicole Smith and Scott Peterson trials and then of course FCA fiasco. I am going to try to ween myself off of this hobby/addiction but we will see......

Gooooood morning peeps!!

You know how we all made fun of Baez and his white boards during the closing arguments in the CA trial? Hate to say it, but I hope Juan does *something* visual to help the jurors remember everything and connect the dots. That last jury experience haunts me, and I want to make sure the understand everything Juan wants them to. There are so many tiny things to keep track of, and I know some of us have even been confused at times. I know Juan will tie everything up, I just hope he does it in a way that is super clear to all the jurors.

So do we agree 4 more days of trial? Today and 3 days next week before jury gets the case?

Hoping JA is here all 4 days and does not pull a sick day. We KNOW she will be front and center on Wednesday and Friday because those will be all about her. Let's keep our fingers crossed she will appear today.
