Wish I could have been there today!

Is anyone else concerned about JM after this trial?

The manipulative, lying, psychopath JA has friends that she probably has lots of stuff on with which to blackmail them. Not only that, there's that other one who is a convicted felon -for arson!

Next door in Texas 2 prosecutors and one of their wives were recently killed.:scared:

Yes; JM needs to be packin', and Mesa/Phoenix PD needs to have his 'six', without taking off weekends and holidays as they did in Texas.

I'm sure he's faced worse than the friends of this lying torture murderess in his storied career.

I don't understand why the DT would want to dispute a finding of a personality disorder, that may go towards some leniancy in the penalty phase, and try to re-establish the fake PTSD diagnosis. That diagnosis only applies to the "fog" after the fact and I think that has been pretty much "cleared up" so to speak that there was no fog. Nor that she suffered any PTSD signs or symptoms in the days and weeks after the murder.

MOO

This will backfire for the DT again.Do we know who this expert is? Will it be Dr. Samuels again? or that other guy that works with ALV? I thought JM was brillant yesterday when he showed the DVD again of Travis and Jody just to show she had blonde hair at that time. He could have used any photo but this showed the jury again that she was not abused.

If JA had really been pregnant the whole world would have known unless maybe she was pregnant by someone other than Travis. We would have heard about the pregnancy all during this trial if it was true. She probably would have blamed the body slamming for causing the miscarriage. SHe is unbelievable. IF JA does not get murder 1, I will never have faith in the justice system again.

JA you make me sick.

Nixa Hardware has my heart, and I WON't cheat.

Where else in the world can I wear my overalls and rubber boots, jaw with the locals, AND get coffee?

The only excuse for not pumping your own gas is that you're in a race car. Heh.

Don't forget the Memory Lane milk in real glass bottles. :D

Still happens to me frequently. Red mist...

I think she's good @ denial. As soon as she starts getting concerned off to color she goes. Tries to tighten up like a clam and shut it all out.
Just watching her facial expressions alone tells you what a whackadoodle she is. She goes from nearly crying one second, to scribbling as if she's trying to win a coloring contest the next. Creeps me out big time.

Now that manslaughter will be among the charges for the jury to consider, is anyone worried about the possibility of a conviction on one of the lesser charges - second degree or manslaughter? I'm not feeling quite as confident about 1st degree pre-meditated murder as I was earlier in the trial. :blushing:

The one thing that I think is fundamentally different between this case and the KC case is that if the jury were to go with the lesser charges, knowing that JA will be out again in a short period of time, they would be verifying for the family of Travis, who have been stoic and steadfast in that courtroom, that they believed JA's version of their brother and his actions and that she had no choice but to kill him. Caylee did not have any advocates in that courtroom for her (other than the millions of general public observers) but no one considered "family" that would despair over that verdict.

This jury has to be prepared, at least in their own consciousness, to believe that Travis was everything that JA said that he was and that she was "backed into a corner" so to speak. I just don't see anyone, other than those paid "experts", who can come to that conclusion based on the evidence and on JA's attitude and demeanor on that stand.

Is the manslaughter charge included for sure???

Even if not confirmed, all of our lawyer pals said it will be. Based on the murderer's lies about not meaning to shoot TA, and him continuing to threaten her afterward will let in the manslaughter charge.

Have you tried baking the bacon? 425 x 20-25 minutes. it comes out straight with no wrinkles, perfectly cooked. put foil on your pan and cleanup is beyond easy. It doesn't spit in the oven like it does in the pan. You can even put some brown sugar on it to make candied bacon, totally yummy.

Baked bacon. Must try....

O/T Is Weebles in the house of WS today??? I miss her pics!!!

I need a good chuckle - today has sucked so far.

when does JA go from jail to prison....meaning how SOON after the guilty verdict?

Not sure if it varies from state to state or not, but my brother's murderer, spent over a year in county before recently being sent to prison.

Is JA allowed to write and or publish a book with her story after all this, or can the family ask that it be order that she can't profit from this murder ????

If she is found guilty she can't profit from the sale of a book. Probably will pass it off to family or friend to tell to make $$$. Guess her pal the arsonist will put it out there for sale.

Last night NG said the prosecution could get the 'book as written so far" and use it against JA if they are so inclined. Interesting if this is accurate.

I think I'm suffering from PTSD....I've had avoidance behavior - haven't posted since the CA verdict. Now I'm having flashbacks of her smiling face (CA) as the verdict was read....I'm creeping out of lurkville and hoping we have a different ending for this one.

Jumping off your post

All in front of the jury...

The gun was in a box
Wait that would take too much time
The gun was unloaded
Er uh
Oops the gun was loaded
The gun was reached by jumping not touching or standing on anything
Oh snap cant reach
there was a holster to grab it
Wait that was dumb,
there was no holster
The free floating shelf was used
Oh shiz, it would have tipped forward but nothing was disturbed
Oh wait, My high IQ enabled me to tidy the shelf back up during my fog

:floorlaugh::floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

BBM

Remember, Nurmi made sure to mention Jodi's high IQ before explaining her reaching up to get the gun!!!

If there is no Son of Sam Law in AZ the Alexander family can launch a Civil suit. She then would not profit.
